Nah but the edo hokage should've been an arc within itself. So rushed

he summoned some shitty ass ninjas beside Itachi, Madara, and Nagato. He should've summoned some mythic ninjas. Some legendary ninjas before Madara and hashi was born. He found the ryuchidou cave. He should've been able to find some other shit!

No, we got to see how much of solo god is nagato, using multiple paths in the same tine and shit

OT: nah but really, edo tensi is what made the arc the decent, without it, I would've dropped the manga by now

To me it would have been better for everyone to be fighting living, breathing enemies as opposed to edo zombies that can regenerate limbs at will and respawn when "killed". I'd rather the opposition had full control of their bodies as opposed to being at the whim of a puppeteer whose jutsu limits them from reaching their full power.

It would also have been interesting to have Naruto face living, breathing shinobi (that he couldn't afford to hold back against) as it would have tested his idealistic resolve of refusing to kill people. Edo tensei in this regard, felt like a cop-out by Kishi. Designed to ensure Naruto remains pure and to make sure his resolve remains unchallenged.
