It would suck. I like Kakashi. But i would actually be okay with his, or any other character's death. The death toll of Heroes to Villains is kind of one sided for a war. But Kishi really isn't into killing kids so if anyone is to die look to the adults.

OT: My guess is Gai. We have yet to the 8th gate and it would be a perfect opportunity to stall for time while Naruto is treated.

Personally I'd be sad if Kakashi dies cause he is my favorite but him getting annihilated by an uchiha let alone Sage of the 6 Paths Madara is the only fitting death for a character such as Kakashi. He'll probly go down with some kind of bullshit fight though which would suck cause I'd be like wtf. Jinchuriki can't last 10 seconds but Kakashi out of chakra will put up the best fight ever. So hope if he dies it's quick and painless

Id rather gai die.. Kakashi almost died with pein ... If kishi kills off kakashi it would be good for the story but id hate it... Especially with all these living kage still alive like common kill oonhoki!!! kill raikage... Mizukage hell or even tsunade they are all old an to me have outlived there role in naruto... Definitely. He should've died the second the bijuus were extracted. Him with his hand in the air, laying on his back- a perfect ending. He doesn't need to revive anyone, patch anything up with Kakashi OR Minato. His story is done, let the awesome guy have his closure.

as far as i'm concerned, Kakashi is 1 of 2 people who just cannot die, simply because he and Guy has an eternal rivalry

and ofc. because he is Naruto's mentor, and Naruto will need his guidance once he becomes hokage.
