No I don't see how Gama would've made a difference and he doesn't listen to Naruto.

Gamabunta (unlike the other summons) has quite a few Long range AOE jutsu in his arsenal. Sasuke is fast but I dont think he is fast enough to cover the area that Gamabunta's jutsu can spread. Hypothetically speaking if he actually listened to Naruto but as I said in my original post, without kyuubi he couldn't summon Gamabunta so it doesn't matter based on OP

Without Kyuubi? No
Naruto needed Kurama's chakra to summon Gamabunta which is EASILY a Kage or greater summon in part 1.
Without Kyuubi chakra he would have only summoned fodder toads.

Also if you remember Naruto was trying to capture Sasuke not defeat him. If im not mistaken Naruto was holding back.

He was holding back at first, but after sasuke tried to kill him with chidori Naruto went all out. “I’ll bring you home, even if I have to break every bone in your arms and legs to do it!”

Plot kept him from summoning Gamabunta though because if he had, Sasuke didn’t have anything in his arsenal at the time that could’ve dealt with him

Jirayia could teach him this jutsu off screen when they were in search of Tsunade. But he didnt use this jutsu because he would kill Sasuke.

Nice BS fic could've doesn't cut it, we don't give feats off of could've. Jiraiya barely taught him the Rasengan which is the excuse he took him with in the first place let alone another jutsu.
