I think he will be the host but kurama would combine with the rest of the ten tails if that were to happen

I'd assume so. I doubt just anyone can be juubi host but naruto being the main character would likely be able to. I doubt he will become its host though. If he wins the battle i can see him just releasing the 7 other tailed beasts.

Probably, all the comparisons to the sage seem to suggest this, that could be a temporary power up in order to fight Tobi. He will definitely interact with all the tailed beasts in some way as he is the one who will lead them down the right path.
