Using the 6 Paths of Pain made him somewhat weaker, since each body was limited to only one technique. Considering that he can use all of his abilities in his healthy/mobile form, he could probably end most of his battles quite quickly without even getting hit.

Notice konan didn't want him to attempt it because he was already tired, no way a fresh nagato in one body would be completely stressed after one chibaku tensei.
