[Discussion] Would Madara's original death solve anything?

Would Madara's original death alter the story drastically? I mean, he got resurrected by Izanagi. And, then again Edo'd by Kabuto. What if Madara stayed dead? There would be no Akatsuki, Nagato wouldn't get the Rinnegan, Obito wouldn't have turned into a crazy psychopath and a lot more. Would peace be achieved by then? Obviously there wouldn't be 90% of the manga plot we have until now. How much would the original plot change? Post your thoughts about this. Would the temporary peace last longer?

Yeah, I think BZ would have still manipulated things to lead to the same result. Really, the best thing naruto did was to make sure BZ was trapped with kaguya. BZ was the main antagonist of the manga, madara was just his puppet.

I think possibly it could have been Sasuke.
Madara was the perfect candidate though. His name itself brought fear into people's hearts. Don't think there would be any living Uchiha capable of matching his level, except Sasuke.

Itachi would be a good candidate. I mean imagine him with senju DNA, his sickness would be solved.

Naw. Itachi was a very wise shinobi. It's like BZ trying to pick Hashirama lol. Unlike other Uchihas, he wasn't driven by emotions. He wasn't limited to his clan, he thought about the overall good of the village.
