Black Zetsu watched over the uchiha ever since being created he says, even some of the senju.
It's clear BZ would take advantage over maddy, like he said himself "Those who love more and lose that love have more hatred to control" or some crap along the lines, yeah ya get it.


Basically we have Zestu standing over maddy since birth, heck all of the uchiha.
At this time maddy was at the top of his clan, who dafuq thinks zetsu is gonna ignore him after his fights with hashi and owning the clan?


This boils down to a mere would a Zetsu emotionally unstable puppet be a better hokage than the 1st/2nd.

we already saw madara throw onoki/muu in the dirt, when hashirama wanted to unite the nations and create peace,
madara on the other hand would just be yearning for war,

and unlike hashirama who tried distributing and maintaining the power, madara would take all the bijuus and try to dictate those nations,

While it's true, he is cruel and ruthless character; however unlike Hashirama, he will do everything for his village's benefits. We seen Hashirama's naive personality, giving up the Bijuu to the 5 nations. They were used as weapons and for war purposes. That ended up lowering Konoha's economy, military and lead to the deaths of many hero's. His naive actions lead to the point where Tobirama became cocky, and corned the Uchiha for racism. Madara, on the other hand will use the Bijuu as pets for only Konoha's benefits and rule the world with Konoha's power. Adding on, he won't tolerate any betrayal or anything against his village or himself. He would defiantly make an amazing one, if not the greatest.​
