Would Kirin work on Obito/Juubi

I don't think it'd work. My reasoning is as such: The sum of the whole is greater than the parts. When Naruto enters Sage Mode he is synergizing his chakra with Nature Energy. However Sasuke is just using the lightning.

Theoretically it works like this: You smelt tin and copper together you create bronze, which is then used to create a sword. You could also make a sword from copper and tin used together, ie; a the hand is made from tin and the blade from copper. Obviously the bronze sword would be stronger.

Obito took a Juubi TBB to the face and regenerated. I don't think Kirin will work.

nah, its start up is too slow. jubbito would stop it or dodge it before it came out of the sky
