He already did treat him like villagers.:|
He obviously cared more about sasuke and left naruto alone. He didn't hate him though, but his treatment to naruto was like other ninjas.

You mean if he was just the Jinchuriki?

No. None of the other shinobi hate him (post chapter 2). Only the common citizens hate Naruto because they don't understand how Fuinjutsu works.

This right here. Kakashi would have still been assigned Naruto by Hiruzen. Hiruzen chose Kakashi and Sasuke to be on his team because they both possessed a doujutsu that's capable of subduing the Kyuubi. Even if Kakashi could not do this because he is not Uchiha, he was the only other person in the village who could train the last surviving Uchiha(at the time) how to use his Sharingan so that he could suppress the Kyuubi should it rage out of control.

So no, he wouldn't have treated him any differently then he does now.

Mizuki was a shinobi but you got a point there. I'm not sure about other villages that have shinobi and Jinchuriki.

I don't think so. Kakashi is not that type of person. He would accept him as his student.
I was thinking the trauma of losing whatever was left of the team would get to him but you're right.

Mizuki didn't hate Naruto, he just used his knowledge to get an edge over Naruto.

Only Iruka hated him, but only while he was a child because his parents were killed. Anyone older than Iruka knew what happened and didn't care, and anyone younger than Iruka wasn't old enough to know about the Kyuubi attack in the first place.

I was going to use Iruka actually. Thanks for the answer!

No he didn't. Kakashi empathised with him right from the beginning.

No, I don't think so. He still would have understood that it wasn't Naruto's choice to be a jinchuuriki and so blaming him would not only be pointless, but it would also be cruel and unfair. I still think he should have played a more active role when Naruto was younger though...

i dont think kakashi would have treated Naruto like because he was smart and understood Naruto's struggle.

That being said, in the first chapter it shows there is a group going out to kill Naruto after he stole the scroll complaining that they should have killed him earlier. Chouji's dad is in the group and he was a jounin. So who knows, maybe kakashi would have been more cautious and wary about him.

He's fair to everyone. the only reason he trained sasuke over naruto is because they both possess the sharingan and sasuke isn't a dimwit when it comes to understanding jutsus. it has less to do with special treatment and more to do with obvious priorities. while granted, kakashi did have a hidden affection for sasuke (confirmed in kage summit arc), he still treats everyone fair and accountable regardless of their background being good or bad. as for naruto, he had to earn kakashi's attention and respect which he did in shippuden. but at the end of the day he cared for all his students, which is why kakashi went HAM on sasuke's ass when he was about to chidori sakura. unlike sarutobi who actually let orochimaru escape at one point.
