Would Kakashi be as famous if the uchiha clan was still around?

Kakashi was really talented ever since he was a child, and was even able to come up with his own justsu but people know him by the man who copied over 1000 justsus. That is something that any Sharingan user is able to do( well except Sasuke cus he fails xd) So if the Uchiha clan was still around meaning other people that was able to do the same thing as Kakashi would he be as famous? Or let me say another question if he didn't have the Sharingan would he still be that well known?

the Uchiha clan was around before he got the sharingan and no one ever copied a 1000 jutsu

and the fact that he's not even an Uchiha and has mastered it to the Level of MS is a feat by itself that should make him famous

Well he was a young Jounin so I would say yes and no. He would have developed different but his name the copy ninja carries fame outside the village, so he wouldn't have been known outside the village if the uchiha were still around and or he didnt receive the sharingan.

He is one of the only to have MS
His Dojutsu was said by Deidara to be on the same level as Itachi's in term of power
Nagato recognized him as a potential future danger to his plan
I think it is safe to assume that he would still be known if the Uchiha were around

Removing his sharingan and bringing back the Uchiha doesn't give the same result.

Removing his sharingan is removing a lot of his powers. He would still been known, but he'd be much weaker and less famous.

You're being a hater, Sasuke's taijutsu was actually on par with Kakashi when he was blind, plus we've seen Sasuke copy tons of jutsus, more than Itachi. You say he can't make up his own jutsus? Watch the Deidara fight, he clearly made up variations of Chidori, and watch Itachi's fight, he made up Kirin, something that would've killed Itachi if he hadn't pulled out Susano'o.

OT: No he wouldn't, he's called "Copy Ninja Kakashi" isn't he? Don't get me wrong, he's an incredible ninja and he'd be famous, but not AS famous.

Without his sharingan, his array of jutsu would be much smaller
He wouldn't use Raikiri or lightning beast
He wouldn't be able to foresee attacks
His Kamui saved him quite often already

and there is more...

the chakra drain of his Sharingan isn't that high anymore . He was able to keep it open for extended periods already

Of course it acts a bit like a double-edge, but it's like handling a Katana with a butterknife
Advantages > drawbacks

Likely because Kakashi is a very good shinobi, the sharingan just helped make him a better shinobi and made his only unique jutsu effective

He copied Chidori. Plus, why would he need to copy? Wouldn't it be better to have your own set of original jutsus so no one would know about it?
