Would Jiraiya have been of much help when fighting Madara and Obito?
He knew sage mode but I don't think he mastered it he would probably be the one causing distractions and getting people out of trouble maybe even somehow sacrificing himself and give Naruto all of his sage powers to make him 2X stronger of something

His death was good for the plot, if he was alive him Oro, and Tsunade would have beat a lot of people

Before the hokages showed up, they needed every asset they could get. Jiraiya would have helped in some way

He would summon ma and pa and perform the frog genjutsu..that should incapacitate edo tensei madara at the very least

I think he could have been helpful to fight. He does have SM but I feel he would have just been a distraction and nothing more.
