The thread isn't about me though. Its about Kishis writing and its a fact he doesn't put much thought into the story, kinda of like the Pokemon creator does. In my opinion, they both do whatever is needed to make the plot work, even if it destroys a timeline or causes several plot holes.

If I had a week, I still couldn't list all the plot holes and points were the time line makes zero sense in Naruto. Just a couple examples is him making Obito meet Nagato 20 years ago, except Obito was 11 and didn't even have Sharingan at that time or that several assassination attempts were made out on Mei as Mizukage for her having KKG 22 years ago, and Mei is only 31, which would make her 9 at the time.......

Those aren't even the worse either.

Yes it would considering even in her human form she's known as a Juubi, same way Naruto was known as Kyuubi child when he was a kid. If Hashirama could tame the Juubi's physical form with one jutsu then Hago and Hamura wouldn't have made a big deal out of it.

It's too vague to come to a conclusion.

Was the Initial IT meant to target her children as well as the rest of Humanity? Did it fail to affect them? Hagoromo at least knew Kaguya was the one who cast it. Did her kids rebel against her actions?

Did something happen to weaken Kaguya to the point that she sought more Chakra?

Why did she fuse with Shinju? Was she still hesitant to kill her own children? Did she lose her sanity and rampage after combining with the tree?

For this thread, Its better for Kaguya fought her sons by her form(human) not Juubi form, Kaguya in human form is more powerful than in Juubi form. Also she can focus more, gain tremendous speed, reflex, agility, durability as example.

All i know is she got angry/jealous when her sons could use chakra so she merged with the shinju to become the juubi to take it from them.

Yes, because she would have easily won that fight. Merging to become the Juubi made it a hell of a lot easier for them to seal her and she's much stronger in her normal form.

what about her juubi's chakra absorbing powers? Shes was absorbing things very fast. Iirc she can only absorb chakra via her hair in her human form.

I'm not sure how much that mattered. Because you also have to remember she also had absorbed the chakra from the IT victims long before as well so she was at her peak in human form too. She could have quite easily overwhelmed two non-Jin's with a weaker Rin'negan (no Amenotejikara) and a Byakugan. Naruto and Sasuke were very specific because Naruto had the Bijuu's chakra which allowed him to luckily make her unstabilize. The first fight, the Bijuu's weren't within Hagoromo until later.

That is the problem...we don't know that she was at her peak in Human form. Remember she also created all of those dimensions of hers. That could have severely weakened her. The power she'd get from her IT might not be infinite because eventually her victims would turn into zetsu. Kishi just glossed-over too much to decide one way or the other.
