OT: Because the majority of the readers/watchers want to see the good guy win. What Madara wants isn't peace, it's absolute rule. peace forced upon someone isn't true peace. It's a prison. A guilded prison, but nonetheless a prison.

well think about it like this: If he wins everyones real bodys will lie down with closed eyes and living in a genjutsu. the thing is they wont eat or drink so madara will have fake peace for about a week or so and after that everyone will die.
