Would it be hard to learn Japanese?

Hey there guys.

Would any of you think it would be hard to learn Japanese?
I'm thinking about learning Japanese, but I'll just start with speaking it, because writing it would be a real difficulty.

If i decide to pursue this dream of mine, I'll probably learn to write in over 10 years, after I've finished studying.
I really can't be asked to try to learn that much considering i have 5 language subjects at school.

So yeah, would it be hard to learn Japanese? have any of you actually tried it?
And I'm talking about actually learning it, and not watching anime and know words like ''Kawaii, Onii-Chan! and Senpai''.

Edit: Right now I'm talking about learning to speak it, forget writing Japanese.

i want to learn it badly but it is difficult to learn along with mandarin its one of the most difficult second langueges to learn

Yes a friend of mine failed it with an D and she was kinda happy about it lol.

Yes it's 3 alphabets learning how to write the correct kanji accurately.

But if you put your mind to it you can learn it.

If you really want you reaaaaaally need to devoteurselt to it, its hard, and i mean really hard
I too want to learn and i have 1 friend tht her friend is working now on jp but worked a lot to learn it

im working on it right now speaking it isnt that hard but writing and read is on a whole nother level of hard

It is really really hard. This isn't like English where you can pick up words and start making up your own lines...

I never found it difficult.

I've found learning Arabic is a stretch though.

Depends on. There was a legendary interpreter in my country who spoke 16 languages, all at native level, and she learned Japanese in a week.

It depends on your personal capabilities and strengths.

I'm currently studying it and it's okay for me. There are people who find it hard, people who find it so-so, and people who find it easy. So yes it depends on you.
