Nope. Would've been killed by Danzo after the 3rd hokage's death. Sasuke was really trapped in that village. Wasn't gonna get strong at all. He would've ended up as another neji. He should've left that village right after his parents death.

Now that I think about it..Itachi was far more skilled and shit at younger age. Sasuke couldn't even walk on water til he was 12. That fodder...

Wouldn't say power-up..got the most advanced tools and didn't use it to the full potential of it.
Sasuke was nerfed. Honesty I believe Hebi Sasuke with EMS can troll a lot of people beside Madara and Itachi.

Hebi sasuke used his brain and was far more tactical than any other versions of Sasuke.

But kishi got rid of hebi Sasuke because his mindset was too advanced to have a silly relationship with Naruto or even keep him in the story for Naruto's character development.

Like think about it. What do you think hebi sasuke was gonna do after Itachi's death if he didn't learn the truth? He wasn't gonna go back to the village, he was just gonna travel around the world and shit. The hebi team would be his new family and shit. His story would've ended right there.

This, plus, with less negative emotions in him, he might not have awakened the Sharingan as quickly, or ever even made it to MS. Sasuke doesn't have a reason to go to Orochimaru at the end of Part I, either.
