Would Edo Itachi and Nagato make a difference in the war?

Alive? Ehh, sort of. Both have downsides. Nagato's movement, or lack of. And the Path ability seperating the Rinnegan powers.

Whereas Itachi would be outdone by having to constantly shield himself and using high level techniques

Itachi's MS + Nagato's Rinnegan = the ability to do almost anything.

obito has MS + rinnegan + mokuton + juubi, obito is already OP.

will they make difference? a little but not much. they get sh1t stomped just the like the hokages.

I see them giving Edo Madara a hell of a fight. Seeing how Itachi mastered MS and Nagato mastered Rinnegan they could compete.
-As for a fight against Obito idk. Seeing Obito walk through the kages makes me think there isn't much that can be done. But having Edo Itachi, Nagato, Hashi, Tobirama, Hiruzen and Minato would be a hell of a team

Stronger chakra, yes.
Madara himself had a powerful chakra, one firestyle took multiple shinobi to stop.
Perfect Susanoo is easily a village destroyer
His Rinnigan powers are stronger. Summoning 2 giant meteors from space which can completely destroy the landscape.
Include the addition of Hashirama's powers..his chakra is increased by many folds.
Nagato may have MORE chakra, but not as powerful.
The fact that he cant move is his ultimate weakness, Madara would run circles around him.
Woodstyle would prove difficult as well.
Also, their experience in battle is faaaar too different.
Edo Madara outmatches Edo Nagato.
