Hasn't it been done a few times? Kishi probably makes them say the jutsu for the reader to know what it is, instead of guessing it. Just take the chapter before where Sasuke used his S/T technique (no name yet actually), he also used chidori without saying it was chidori.

It just the habit of Shonen manga to state the name of the technique

also for us readers know or have a clue of what technique the character are using.
