Well, I'm in medical school currently, and through my research, I came across a very unique and rare way to die. Personally, I view it as one of the absolute worst ways to die. Basically, there are 4 blood types which are O, A, B and AB and further categorized by the Rhesus type which we use the symbols +/- for. Some bloods can be compatible, while others are not, such as someone with type O blood can share their blood with O, A, B and AB, whereas type A blood can only be shared with type A or AB. Now here is why blood type matters, if you were to do a blood transfusion with a blood type that is not compatible, such as transfusing A+ into a B- patient, you can invoke a blood transfusion reaction known as hemolytic (Hemolytic Transfusion Reaction). The victim as you may say, will have a chain reaction of life threatening situations occurring within minutes. Immune system starts attacking and killing the incorrect blood cells, many of your immune system functions start coming to a halt, oxygen is struggling to travel from lungs throughout your entire body, your body altogether is on a rapid deterioration mode. Many people who have had this occur to them claimed their body, starting from the furthest extremities felt a slight warmth grow into an extreme burning feeling (as cells are beginning to suffocate). Basically, victims feel like they heat up then feel like they are on fire as their body is dying due to the reaction. It's the whole reason why you should always know your exact blood type and why blood types are always carefully monitored, to prevent this reaction as once started, it's extremely hard to stop as the blood is already coursing in the victim's veins.
