So which arc or arcs do you think were the worst in Shippuden? What are your top 3?

Kazekage Rescue Arc

Sasuke and Sai Arc

Immortals Arc

Itachi Pursuit Arc

Pain Arc

5 Kage Summit Arc

Confining the Jinchuuriki Arc

Early War Arc (from the moment Naruto broke free of Turtle island until the moment when the Juubi was revived)

Middle War Arc (Juubi Revival to Obito's redemption)

Late War Arc (also called Return of Madara Arc)

Kaguya Arc

For me, the worst ones are the Kaguya arc (no explanation needed), the Middle War Arc (I got bored from the endless battling) and the Sasuke and Sai arc (this arc really was pointless and nothing changed plot-wise.)

Some others I think could have gone better were the Kazekage Rescue Arc (lots of unnecessary stuff) and the Late War Arc (several asspulls).

What was wrong with the Kage summit arc? I thought it was great. For me it has to be the Sasuke ans Sai arc.

Kaguya Arc is utter garbage. It doesn't even feel like Naruto with all of the pure foolishness going on. It feels like Kishimoto has been kidnapped by a crazed former assistant of his who decided to take over.

Kazekage rescue seemed drawn out.
Generally the entire war arc, there were a fair few good moments, but overall it wasn't that great.
Sasuke and Sai arc.

All arcs had the "meh" moments though, really.

Maybe one or two chapters/episodes were boring but to count it as a whole and say it was bad/worst arc NOPE. There chapters/episodes in those arcs that was great to read/watch I THINK SOME OF YOU MEMBERS JUST WANT S**T TO GO THE WAY YOU WANT IT TO GO TOO MUCH and should understand this by now that this is not BurgerKing( HAVE IT YOUR WAY get it)

Mmmm...I'd say Kazekage rescue arc and the first half of the war arc.

I may be a bit biased with the Kazekage rescue arc since I've seen it SOOOOO many times, but there are several elements to it that always drove me crazy. The biggest dislike I have for it is Naruto not really changing much. I was expecting him to get his own weapon like Sasuke, learn an element, etc but not much changed and he spent the whole arc hot headedly chasing Deidara. -_- Other elements include the annoying ass team Gai clones, which did absolutely nothing for the characters or plot for me, Kankuro and Temari taking a back seat and Itachi and Kisame disguising suna shinobi as themselves.

Thankfully, Sakura's development and she and Chiyo's fight with Sasori was epic and is still one of my favorite parts of the series. Sasori and Chiyo's characters were also compelling. I also liked that Naruto developed his rasengan, genjutsu resistance and objectivity in battle. The drama with Gaara was great as well.

The edo tensei portion of the war arc drives me crazy because there were soooo many other edos I wanted to see. Jiraiya, Sakumo, the fire guardians, the edo swordsmen of the mist who were cut short, Shisui, Kagami, the Uchiha police force, Danzo, the first kages, Senju characters, Konan. I was also expecting to see far more k11 development. Furthermore, up until Madara, it felt rushed in every aspect including plot, illustration, tactics, fight length, drama, characterization, etc. An old, cliched samurai with little to no shinobi techniques, characterization or story significance easily defeating Hanzo of all people who conquered an entire nation, started the third shinobi war and fought on par with Nagato and the Sannin also majorly ticked me off.

Fortunately, there were also several good fights and story concepts. I enjoyed Edo Itachi and Nagato's return and Naruto and Bee's fight with them. The edo Kages were also great characters who related to Gaara and the other characters well. The gold and silver brothers could have been better, but I was satisfied and loved team Gai, team Asuma and Darui's developments in them. I also enjoyed Shikaku's ingenious strategies while Edo Madara was an epic shocker and the fight with Obito and the Jinchuriki kept me on the edge while the long fight and development with Kabuto was intriguing.
