Worst characters in the series (in proportion to their exposure)

Sasuke is terrible too. If he cant right a good mc what makes you think Sasuke isnt shit either?

There are characters that have held less exposure compared to Sakura, yet are revered by the Naruto fanbase as good characters. (I.e. Might Guy, Rock Lee, Itachi, etc.). Sakura's lack of exposure is no excuse for how terrible of a character she is. She's judged upon what she's displayed; nothing more, nothing less.

Also, to say Sasuke is a terrible character is an overstatement. He has his flaws (ideology flopping, acting out of character, illogical motives), but he has more redeeming qualities than negative. Same goes for Naruto.

I don't think Sasuke is a terrible written character, I just think that his fan's/base over-estimate his character a bit. He's not complete shit like most of the main characters, but he's definitely not this overly amazing developed character.If that makes sense.

Kishimoto lacks writing ability, and I can say for certain that most of the better characters died long before Kishimoto hit the stump. Jiraiya for instance, died at the right time.

Early enough to where the Manga was nearest its prime, and long enough to where you can look back and still feel emotional. IMO though.

It's not an overstatement his flaws are not in his character from great writting. It's out of terrible writing and inconsistency spread over the course of a decade. That goes for both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. How many threads do you actually see that has anything to do with their character that isn't about their power or incredibly stupid shit they've done or said. None, because they have no depth that any regular joe can't read in a bio.

Regardless of if they were main characters or not they would still be awful, not being main characters would just slightly excuse them for being shit.

If you like them then congrats on having low standards. I was there at that time too. then the series ended and I was left with nothing but shit and useless trivia.
