Whilst i'd love to say Naruto or DBZ....I'm starting to believe it's One Piece. Age & immaturity of the readers/author mixed with the hostility and bad attitude of other fanbases (They HATE Narutards irrationally for some reason ) or the slightest criticism.

Fellow NBer & commenter Light Yagami summarised their fanbase and reaction to a light parody perfectly.

"Had such a video been made on naruto, magi, toriko, bleach, etc., you wouldn't have received such a backlash. It's because those fan bases know how to take a joke. But this fanbase is as childish as their Manga. I generally don't like generalizing, but the reaction of 1pisstards to this video just pushed me."

Oh yeah I remember that, the response to that video was cancerous, nearly everybody took it too seriously or missed the joke.

Whilst I mostly agree with you, your sig just seems...inaccurate. Like- that exchange is just out of character...

Somebody having a different opinion to you isn't worthy of 'cancer'. Having people pop in everyday to insult you or tell you to die because you made a simple joke about their favourite show is actually awful. One Piece.

OPM just had too much hype and ofc that will come with some immaturity. They don't really generalize for the entire OPM fanbase. On the topic of fanbases, Toriko's fanbase was terrible for 2015. A lot of idiots jumping to conclusions about the pacing and hate every week, yet they still continue to read the manga.
