If it's real then thats great news.
On the other hand, attacks may become more frequent, unpredictable, & more violent. As a last ditch effort to show their loyalty to whatever is their cause.
I mean think about it, they're likely going to become desperate and/or realize that if they'll lose they might as well use the last bit of ammunition & whatever else they have.
Either way this is a major leap in the right direction.
