TVGuide.com is reporting that Joker, who creator Bruno Heller originally intended to debut in a later season down the line, is going to start to have his story told in Season 1.

I truly wonder how this is going to work. Joker is a post Batman Villain, are they going to drop a kid in a vat of poison?

I guess Gotham is going to be telling their own story.

Yeah, I can see them change that a bit or he could just be a younger version of the redhood, but I did read that they'll start to drop hints of his story at by the end of season 1.
