Wood-style user ever be as good as the 2nd?

Well, I was hopping to discover what popular opinion about Oro's exparamental wood style user Yamato "wood" EVENTUALLY as powerful as the 1st..? Hashirama Senju, ...or did the 1nd have something our alive user does not...? (maybe he went off and found an elusive "Wood Sage", heh).

Edit style no Jutsu: Hashirama Senju I meant (the First). Etc.

And you mean Yamato right ? He's like 100 weaker in Mokuton than Hashirama Senju. And he will never be able to get it up, why ? Because it's originally not his technique and ability.

Tobirama (the 2nd Hokage) couldn't use Wood Release. Hashirama is the onlt natural possessor of it. Yamato is who you're talking about.
Edo Madara is most likely very close to Hashirama's level of Wood Release.

The 2nd hokage used water technique and the first was the first person to have used the wood technique,that i know,and was known to be a very strong hokage and a senju so,i dont think yamato can be like him,let alone surpass him.

And yet, we see Madara using it too... (jk, I know ) I was theorizing (much like Minito) Naruto surpassed his father - so one "wood" assume the same for all father/brother similarities (another example is Sasuke & Itachi).
