i have read alot topics of ppl claiming the wood style of hashirama was giving to him by the uzumaki and some other bs which i find ridiculous but let me get to the case.

we all know; wood syle is an advanced nature kekkei genkai formed through simultaneously combining earth-based chakra nature in one hand and water-based in the other
however if that is the case why cant other shinobi's with water and earth chakra nature perform it.
1.Do you just have to be a senju?
2.could uzumaki do it too because of their strong life force?
#1. If you have to be a senju to perform it why is it that only hashirama the only senju that can do it, am sure there were alot senju's with water and earth nature.
could tobirama do it too if he had earth chakra nature too? my answer is NO
#2. No because its not just having strong life force, its about being able to manipulate it and giving it out
like naruto did with healing kakashi eyes and might gai
Now this is my Explanation.
The reason why hashirama can perform this advance kkg is very simple: the Yang Release
remember when naruto obtained kurama chakra during his training with bee and yamato wood style grew into trees?
This was the Yang realease giving immense life energy to yamato wood style.
From this point on it was obvious that you need Ashura chakra to be able to do the wood style because ashura inherited the Yang chakra from the so6p
Hashirama can manipulate the water and earth to form wood and give it life energy because of his ashura yang chakra and make live, i mean did you guys saw that wood golem that shit was alive as a mofo.
The only shinobi that is capable of doing it too narato if he had water and earth chakra nature because he also possesses the Yang chakra from ashura.
So only those with Ashura chakra can do it but they need to have water and earth nature.
by having hashirama dna gives you water and earth realease and a fraction of ashura yang chakra which is why yamato couldnt perform massive techniques on his own.
So no it was not giving to him.
He couldn't have done it if he wasn't ashura reincarnation
maybe naruto will perform something similar in the future when he really learns about the Yang realease
