Wood Style Jutsu

Can someone explain to me why only Yamato can do wood style jutsu. I'm not asking this just because I didn't pay close enough attention to the series either. I understand that the First Hokage could do it genetically, Yamato was infused with his DNA and that's why he could do it. I was willing to accept that explanation no questions asked until Naruto started training chakra nature and manipulation. Yamato then explained that he combines his water and earth styles to create wood, AND that other shinbo practice the same thing with their chakra. So what I'm really getting at is why can't other earth+water shinobi just train really hard and do the same? The explanation given in the series just doesn't add up for me like the Sharigan or byakugan do.

Well i think its because combining the two is incredibly difficult so shinobi with the kkg can do it has it becomes easier for them.

I'm not sure either. Another thing I wonder is why Yamato doesn't learn jutsus for the individual elements of water and earth. He has them both I don't see any reason as to why he wouldn't be able to, he seems capable enough.

wow this is really confusing me right now....
I think anyone could technically learn how to do wood style but it would be really hard to..... it would probably be the equivalent of dust release accept wood style is only 2 natures being fused instead of three...in theory I think...
but that wouldn't explain how Madara and Yamato can do wood style because they obtained it through getting the 1st hokages DNA....but if this was true shouldn't tsunade have wood release because she is related to the 1st.....idk(kinda like how clans have their particular jutsu(shik,choji,ino))

the only explanation for me would be that madara and yamato were somehow implanted with something more than just DNA(or the 1st's DNA just has an affinity for wood style) and they were fused with his chakra so that they could have this affinity for wood style......so I think other people can learn wood style but its probably really hard and chakra consuming if your dont have a massive chakra base(ex. row of houses jutsu destroys yamato/ 1st had a huge chakra base so it wouldn't be that hard for him) and the user is basically making life out of thin air.

that's why it is a blood limit called kekkei genkai...like haku who mixes water and wind to create a new element called ice...the same explanation applies in wood...

I do understand that part Tristan but traditionally I'll say that if a person has a KG they just have it you know what i mean? Sasuke opens his eye and bam theres sharigan! But the wood style has to be made. He doesn't just make wood out of nowhere like Haku made ice without even knowing he could as a kid. So while I agreed 100% that there is a KG in the 1st's bloodline that makes it easier but still not without difficulty (Yamato really struggles) I feel like at the end of the day it really is manipulation and that people without the KG could do it as well if they had enough chakra and obviously trained like crazy.

on the tenchi bridges episode they oro said that he put the 1st cells into yamato's body that why he can use wood. but if u have wood u have earth and water too same with madara. i wonder if oro knows something with tobi like an experiment
