Tell me what you know about Wood, in the series and in the RP.
So wood release is a kekkei genkai unique to Hashirama but also not really cause that guys dna has been in more people than a gender bent medb.

Its a very versatile element notable for its ability to combat the bijuu very well for inexplicable reasons, it has few weaknesses overall. In the case of Obito his usages seemed to focus more around root like attacks and spears of wood, he also incorporated it in to physical attacks.

This allowed him to absolutely ratio some hidden mist anbu.

Made through the combination of earth and water, wood release is weak to lightning.

Mostly good. What extra there is is more related to the 'inexplicable' qualities it possesses, which are varied. It's able to absorb and suppress chakra, and there are also extrasensory properties associated with some of its techniques, which is exemplified by the Tracking Seed technique. It's exclusive to Sage Mode, so it won't really pop up during this training, but the Myōjinmon also has suppression abilities, which establishes further precedent.

It's also an element which embodies life, which makes it a good field to pair with Yang Release. Look no further than the Birth of Nature technique. That being said, I'll just dump all the D-Ranks in this one post since they're all extremely simple and similar to one another. Anything that stands out to you though, do make mention of it.

That wood transformation technique sounds kinda neat, with enough practice you could even become a real boy. Other than that though, they're D ranks you'd only really use them for memes.

That last one sounds way stronger than a D rank, pretty sure its from one of the storm games, the best one of these is the generic wood technique since it has a lot of versatility even though its weak.

No questions about these either, nearly every single one is just a wood pillar, other than flavor purposes I feel like every single wood technique is made redundant by the A rank greater wood technique honestly lmao, they all become lesser wood techniques.

Unironically one of the bigger takeaways from learning Wood Release lmao.

(Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Cutting Technique
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: A highly versatile techniques whereby the user converts part of their body to wooden branches. These branches can then be used offensively by multiplying and extending them, then piercing opponents with them. It can also be used to create short-range weapons like makeshift "swords", or else vaulted at opponents as a long-range projectile which can then be remotely manipulated to grow even more.

(Moku Bunshin no Jutsu) – Wood Clone Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user creates clones of themselves made of wood that then sprout out of their body or are created from any nearby source of Wood, Earth or Water. These clones, however, are quite special as they maintain a mental connection to the user, communicating back to him even from long distances. An advanced use of this technique is to transform the clones into seeds that, once implanted or swallowed allow the user to track an enemy (that has it implanted or ingested it) by pinpointing his position through the same mental connection. Versatile, these clones can use Wood techniques as well as Earth and Water techniques up to S-Rank. This technique, when created by Uchiha Madara, creates clones with EMS/Rinnegan and capable of using the EMS/Rinnegan techniques like Madara himself.
Note: Follows the Clone battle rule usage restrictions

(Mokuton: Mokujōheki) Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user does the Rat → Dog → Tiger while focusing chakra into the ground. This technique uses chakra to activate the roots in the ground and, using the user of the technique as a reference point, makes wooden pillars appear from left and right. The wooden pillars join together in a dome-shape with the user at the centre. Usable mainly for defensive purposes, this technique can act as a trap if the enemy is near.

(Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu) Wood Release: Great Forest Technique
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: By focusing wood chakra into one of his limbs and performing 4 hand seals (Tiger → Horse → Tiger → Snake), the user is able to sprout and extend a massive brute mass of wooden spikes and pillars. These spikes can be used to both attack the user by impaling him through the sheer speed with which they grow and extend or to defense from incoming attacks by spreading a bit wider and forming a barrier between the user and the attack. A more advanced use for this technique is to utilize it to capture the enemy and imprison him in the mayhem of spikes and pillars. The user can detach himself from the pillars at any time, while stopping it in the process.

(Mokuton: Ketatamashii Rūtsu) - Wood Release: Impaling Roots
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user grows four roots from the ground and attacks the opponent, restricting him, impaling him, etc.

(Mokuton: Hashira Hasai no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Pillar Crush Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: After the user traps the opponent within the Wood Release: Four Pillars Prison Technique they will then turn an existing clone into a giant pillar that then crashes into the opponent within the Four Pillar Prison.

(Mokuton: Jukai Heki) – Wood Release: Dense Woodland Wall
Type: Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user performs the Bird → Hare → Serpent hand seals and then by touching the floor the user will creates an immense wall of wood branches that will grow at high speed, interlacing to create a defensive barrier.

(Mokuton: Yanagi) - Wood Style: Wood Willow
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: User focuses his chakra and creates a huge willow tree that will sprout from the ground and attack multiple enemies with its branches.

(Mokuton: Mokujin Hitsugi) - Wood Style: Wooden Men Coffin
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: Creates a wooden House made form Mokujins. Best used with Wooden Men Manipulation to drain the opponent of there chakra while they fight your wooden dummies.

Again, very by-the-books techniques that serve offensive or defensive purposes. The only exceptions to this are the Wood Clone and Wooden Men Coffin techniques, which are unique for different reasons. Any particular thoughts on them?

Wood release cutting technique can be interesting because you're physically throwing the spear you create up to long range, which would modify the jutsu speed under the new rulings to follow your physical force, like throwing a kunai or shuriken which is cool. In regards to wood clones they're useful for sure, the telepathic link is pretty great, that last bit about Madara specifically getting his dojutsu powers is kinda lame, because it implies other users don't like my bio.

Wooden men coffin is weird, it drains chakra but how much? 20? If so then yuck.

Good question. One could assume 20 points per turn, but since it's not written it's kind of just up in the air. Little updates to those techniques would be neat, but no sleep lost over the way they are now.

(Mokuton: Jubaku Eisou) Wood Release: Tree Bind Flourishing Burial
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user does the Snake → Rat → Dragon → Dog → Tiger hand seals and focuses his chakra in the ground beneath the opponent. A large mayhem of branches and vines sprouts and grows, interlacing around the opponent until it forms a tree around him, restraining him completely while leaving only his head visible. With a simple push of chakra, the user can make the tree compress around the opponent completely crushing him.

(Mokuton: Mokusatsu Shibari no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Smothering Binding Technique
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The technique is similar to wood release: great forest technique in respect that the users arm transforms into several wood tendrils, which can be used to capture and restrain an enemy. The main difference is that the tendrils aren't sharp or intended to harm the target, instead spreading in a thinner manner to restricting the target as opposed to attack it. It can be large enough to trap even a large summon.

(Mokuton: Uchū no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Universe Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40

Note: Can only be used by Obito Uchiha and Zetsu

I'm pretty sure the Piercing Branch technique is straight up just the Cutting technique, but with the footnote that it's exclusive to Obito and Zetsu. The Total Capture technique is kind of dumb lmao, but besides those nothing really notable about these techniques.

Good question. One could assume 20 points per turn, but since it's not written it's kind of just up in the air. Little updates to those techniques would be neat, but no sleep lost over the way they are now.

(Mokuton: Jubaku Eisou) Wood Release: Tree Bind Flourishing Burial

Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20

A large mayhem of branches and vines sprouts and grows, interlacing around the opponent until it forms a tree around him, restraining him completely while leaving only his head visible. (Mokuton: Mokusatsu Shibari no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Smothering Binding Technique

The main difference is that the tendrils aren't sharp or intended to harm the target, instead spreading in a thinner manner to restricting the target as opposed to attack it. It can be large enough to trap even a large summon.

Piercing branch is really the only one that matters to me not gonna lie, I'd use that just for the theme since it's Obito's go to wood technique, it's also got a level of versatility that makes it useful in a variety of situations, much like the former technique this can also have it's speed augmented if you choose to make it a throwing weapon and you happen to be capable of throwing it faster than the base jutsu speed, like through augmentations or the like.

(Mokuton: Dai Sashiki no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Great Cutting Technique

(Mokuton: Kyousei Mokuzai No Jutsu) Wood Release: Greater Wood Technique
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60

The Wood can be created from the users body or from earth sources and its limitations are only set by the users own imagination and the chakra put into the technique.

(Mokuton: Torakkingu Za-men) Wood Release: Tracking Seeds

(Mokuton: Idenshi no Shondiame) - Wood Release: Genes of the First Hokage
Type: Offensive
Rank: A

(Mokuton: Jumoku Kōtan) - Wood Release: Nativity of Trees
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user strikes the opponent with Wood Release: Great Forest Technique and makes the wood that struck the opponent form into a tree. This technique can also be used to bind the target with the tree.

(Mokuton: Renchūka no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Serial Pillar Houses Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique is a larger scaled version of the Wood Release: Four Pillars House Technique. Instead of creating a single house, Yamato creates multiple houses at once. It appears to exhaust him rather quickly, and as a result the user may only perform B rank and below wood element the following turn. This technique can be used to for multiple homes or as a defence.

Again, nothing particularly special about most of these besides just being juiced up versions of lower rank techniques. Tracking Seed provides a cool basis for less offensively-oriented customs.

Greater wood technique is one of the better wood jutsu as I mentioned before, other than that yeah pretty basic stuff, serial pillar houses technique is obviously the best wood jutsu but the seeds are pretty cool too I guess. Not really much to say about them though that I haven't already mentioned.

What on earth is that donated custom lmao, that's one of the weirdest things I've ever read, the rest are cool though, the piercing branch variant is probably gonna be the one I use the most.

Here's the one technique you can learn beyond that.

( Mokuton: Hōbi no Jutsu ) - Wood Release: The Priest's Art of Expulsion
Type: Defensive
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short
Chakra: 80
Damage: N/A
Description: Quickly creating a dome-like structure in the form of a dragon's face, the user is completely surrounded by wood. Taking advantage of the nature of Wood Release, this Fuuinjutsu substantially weakens incoming attacks whilst protecting the user inside. This barrier is designed to be capable of reducing up to 120 damage from attacks at the cost of a move per turn. Sustained as long as the user maintains the seal, the user can cause it to split open down the middle on his command.
Note: Can only be used once.

Very cool technique, it's like if saint-14 had wood release. Jokes aside this thing can tank a lotta damage, might be useful in the raid actually, to block reflected techniques, pretty sure you can't reflect a defensive.
