Hashirama observed, and kept observing. He wondered what his student would change in and he felt nothing. No fear, no terror whatsoever and acted calm towards the change of appearance of his student.

''Eh... who's this fodder?! He seems quite old... and, what's with the faces?! CHANGE LOOKS ALREADY. I do not want to look in this man's ugly eyes no more, it hurts!''

As he got disgusted by the looks of a strange fodder, which he somehow remembered but in his head knew all too well who it was but acted differently nonetheless because of not fearing him as he had faced him many times before. The only man he slightly feared, but respect pure because of his fighting skills was the one and only Madara uchiha, and none other than that.

''Ah, anyways... got caught of guard. Uhm, well. How it can get canceled other than by the user? Lightning, or interruption by your opponent because you need to focus on changing appearance and once you get caught off guard then you'll lose your grip, and the wood wouldn't change into what you had in mind. But the stronger you'll become, the easier it gets and the faster you'll change into the desired person you want to.''

As he explained how this technique could get interrupted, he performed the exact same technique. And with the mere blink of an eye of his student, Hashirama had already changed into his very own student, and once again appeared like a flash in front of him, looking dull towards his eyes.

''See, like this. *gaze*''

As Hashirama changed in his student, he now proceeded training in this form and told him further instructions on how to perform the next technique.

''ALRIGHT! Now we will continue with the most epic, awesome, tiny, weakest but yet handy technique whom we all use! Wood users that is! Well, this technique can erupt from every part of your body. Your head, hand, leg, butt, back. Just, from everywhere. It can get erupted from underneath, can be performed whilst in the air and can even erupt from under water because of wood being so strong, forcing itself out the water. Or, if you just use logic, you'll know that you can create wood from water by inserting earth, combining it with the water thus creating wood. There are maaaaaaaaaaaaany combinations, to use this technique and you can do maaaaaaaany things with this technique, so give it a try! Perfor-... oh. I'm, it's, yeah....''

As Hashirama started stuttering, he stepped two steps back as he had just realized how close he was talking to his student and still was in his ''Yamato'' disguise so with a chakra blast, the wood redeemed from his body with ease as he started to laugh awkwardly towards his student.

(Mokuton No Jutsu) - Wood Style Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defense
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: Creates small wood pillars or trees to trap, defend, or fight with. These can be created from the users own body or from the ground.
@ Bold: Mind = Blown @_@

Brief description of how you perform the technique: Not wanting to hurt Shodaime, Yamato remembers his lesson on dummies and by simultaneously mixing his earth and water-natured chakra into wood-natured chakra, he sends his chakra through the earth about mid-range from him and grows a wooden dummy out of the ground. He makes sure it is as perfect as it can be but like his previous one, this one too had a tengu nose.

"Aha! There we go! Now I have someone to take out all my anger on."

Yamato then, using his wood-natured chakra and sending it towards the ground below him, grows a thin, wood pole from the ground next to him which he breaks off and takes with both hands. He then runs towards the dummy as it takes a ready stance. Once in short range of the dummy, Yamato then puts his balance into his left foot out to the right as he maneuvers around the dummy. He pivots himself in the air as he puts the pole down into the ground. Using his quick reflexes and keen intellect, as Yamato is about to kick the dummy from behind, he grows a small wood pillar (up to mid-range) from the underside of his foot and pierces the dummy into many brittle pieces. Using the momentum of spinning on the pole (like a stripper?) he spins himself in the air with the pole in his hand and gracefully lands on the ground. As he crouches, he holds the pole with his left hand and with his right hand he makes a sign of confrontation as he closes his eyes. He then looks on to his senpai with what looks like big, emotionless eyes that many would find either creepy or horribly ugly.

"Senpai...@__@ (his face resumes his normal, kind demeanor) How was that?"

(Mokuton: Mokujin) - Wood Style: Wooden Man
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A (+5 for any hits landed by the dummy)
Description: The user creates a training wooden dummy to help him train or to fight against an opponent.

(Mokuton: Moku no Goku Rendan) - Wood Release: Wood Pole Combo
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user creates a thin pole of wood from either the ground or himself. The pole itself can be used as a hand to hand weapon to strike opponents or as a support tool.

(Mokuton No Jutsu) - Wood Style Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defense
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: Creates small wood pillars or trees to trap, defend, or fight with. These can be created from the users own body or from the ground.

How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skills, creative use, etc): I haven't really seen much fights with Hashirama & Yamato but using my creativity, you could either use it in CQC like making them appear anywhere on your body or linking several together to make a shield to protect against projectiles (would that even work?). You could also use them to boost yourself up like the earth pillar only, from what you mentioned, can be used even in water (following logic ofc). I don't know if you could use the pillars to restrain a target but if so, then it would be good to use if used effectively with other jutsu.

Limitations of the technique: I am not sure since I have no experience observing its use so I assume that it lacks strength especially if struck with fire/lightning. (?) Also because of its rank would it be quite brittle?

How to counter the technique: Depends on the situation since this technique has multiple applications. If used directly on me I could try to use the same technique to defend against the blow or prop myself into the air. I was wondering if it was used directly towards me then I could use the same technique at an angle to change the trajectory of their technique like to the side or upwards.

Questions regarding the technique: How strong are these pillars and how many can you allowed to create? Could a shield of several interlocking pillars block/defend against kunais, shuriken? Even if enhanced with wind/fire/lightning coating?

Hashirama whom observed his students once again was proud, proud of what he has taught him.

''I am so proud of you, nice job man! T_T''

As he showed how proud he was, he listened to what his student had to say and looked him straight in the eyes.

''Everything what you asked was correct. Nice, you can ofcourse restrain your opponent or even create shields if you explain perfectly well on how you do it. And, let's say up to twenty pillars, you'll learn the stronger version of it later on so you could create up to hundred. But yes, this can protect you from kunai's and shurikens indeed. And if enhanced with wind or lightning then it'll pierce straight through it. With fire, no. The kunai will get stuck in the wood and the wood would set on fire, and after a few seconds it would turn into ashes. With wind, if creating a shield of one layer then yes, if two layers like causing ten wooden pillars to merge, or simply stand next to each other leaving no space in between the pillars with another ten to the front etc. Or a half shaped doom like the one Kurotsushi used in the five kage summit.... How, do I know this?! Kurotsushi?! WHO'S THAT?! But, anyways... uhm remember that it's D-Ranked! Elemental weakness and strength, keep that in mind.''

As he explained how this technique could be used, he proceeded in telling him what to do next as he slightly got excited.

( Mokuton: Mokuchū Sora Kikku ) - Wood Release: Wood Sky Kick
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user will attack the opponent multiple times with several punches and kicks before turning their left arm into wood that extends out into a small pillar and pointing towards the ground and then lifting them towards the opponent where they finish them with a kick to the chin lifting them into the air.

''Alright, Yamato, you have created many wooden technique's so these should be a piece of cake.''

As he spoke, he thrown a scroll towards his student to explore himself what to do next.

''Now, let me enjoy this cup of tea. MAKE ME PROUD!!!1111!!1!! U_U''

OOC: I was watching some of Yamato's moves on youtube from Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes (not storm) 3. I plan on incorporating those moves into my battles. If I didn't look how sky kick was done then I would have never found out. So thanks. xD

Brief description of how I perform the techniques: Yamato channels his chakra as his concentrates on where exactly he wants the pillar to arise from. He focuses it under the dummy's feet and quickly raises a wood pillar from the ground sending the dummy into the air. Yamato then jumps up and delivers several punches to the enemy and as he let's his left hand hang down, he creates a wooden pillar extending from his left arm to balance and lift him up as he delivers a hard kick to his chin and send him flying up high until he becomes a tiny shining star in the far off distance, Tsunade-style.

"Whooeee! Seems like that one won't be making a reappearance any time soon. We can say that his rise to "stardom" surely took him "farther" than he thought. (sfx: badum tss!)"

  • ( Mokuton: Mokuchū Noboru ) - Wood Release: Wood Pillar Climb
How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skills, creative use, etc): Well the fact that it lifts the opponent into the air makes it appealing to use for a set up. I was thinking of using a fire technique while he is up there but that isn't Yamato's strength so need to think of creatively using either a water, earth, or wood attack. Water is too fickle for that, earth might work....hey I wonder if you use that kunai trick with your hands (wood technique) and then using the shadow shuriken technique to make it many of them. Possibly make that into a custom of sorts and such, eh?
  • Limitations of the technique: Well for being such a low level technique a skilled opponent can easily counter it and/or use it as a setup for their attacks. Elemental strengths and weaknesses also apply.
  • How to counter the technique: I was thinking of doing a back/side flip as soon as you feel it beneath your feet or as you are suspended in midair use a fireball/wind technique or something that you can quickly send towards the enemy that can cover a wide range or at least avert his attention as you safely land and counter with another move.
  • ( Mokuton: Mokuchū Sora Kikku ) - Wood Release: Wood Sky Kick
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skills, creative use, etc): Now this seems like a good one to use in CQC and one that I can see myself using often. It's pretty good considering its rank. Those punches...I wonder if you can get away with missing them like using them as faint attacks to fool your enemy and then when you go with the kick that would be like a jack-in-the-box surprise. The fact that this too sends your opponent into the air is nice since you can follow up with a technique or force your opponent into the air.
  • Limitations of the technique: If I am correct, your punches have to connect right? Otherwise the whole attack won't go through.
  • How to counter the technique: Well the punches could be easy to counter if you keep your eyes peeled and grab the opponent's leg as he aims to hit you. If you can't dodge or substitute, then your best bet is to aim for missing the punches or the kick. Though logically speaking it would be better to take the punches than the kick. xD

Hashirama observed his student once again, and was amazed by the fact of how he actually could manage to create these wooden technique's with ease, as if he was used to this all, and performed these like it was his very first time.

''YAMATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ~ OUTSTANDING! Nice job, really, I'm a proud teacher indeed! Keep up the good work. Now that we have finished all the splendid and wonderful, and oh so useful D-Ranked techniques, I want you to once again perform a simple technique, by using the technique's you have learned thus far. You may also use earth, or water but, only D-Ranked of course before we proceed with the epic C-Ranked wooden woody technique's. Make me proud, and let's see what you can do against this horrible clone I will create, which reminds me of this fodder guy named Madara, haha-ha..ha... wait... *suddenly sees images of Madara with both rinnegan and six paths abilities*... n-never mind... just do as I... told you...''

As he saw the images flashing in front of him, he received goosebumps from head to toe, and turned back in his usual stance when disappointed as he created a clone.
