''Hiya there. And who might you be? And... it's strange but I have the feeling that you can actually use my very own KG wood... what's this?!?!?!?! Can you explain please.... and you're scaring me with those eyes to be honest...''
Yamato opened his eyes wide to see the face of the man who was talking to him. He noticed how tall he was and how formal he appeared. Almost as if an old relic appearing out of nowhere.

He spoke in his usual scary tone. He wanted to intimidate the man and see what his reaction would be.
"Hello. Are you perhaps my sensei?"
Yamato then resumes a normal face as he continues.
"Hello my name is Yamato. I am what you call a successful result of inbreeding. I was infused with Shodaime's cells and I survived. Thanks to Orochimaru-sama, I can use wood release. It is a special kekkei genkai which allows you to mix your earth and water chakra simultaneously to create organic life in form of trees, flowers, and plants. I have what ou call a "Green Thumb.
You should have seen what I did to Danzo-domo one time. I created a giant tree in the atrium back at ROOT HQ and he nearly shat a brick. I was reprimanded though but it was worth it.
Anyways, what do you call yourself old man?" .-.
Hashirama somehow got irritated by the eyes and had the urge to throw a rock towards those piercing eyes filled with... nothing. No warmth, hatred, love. Nothing, mere eyes that showed no emotion whatsoever.
''Shodaime's cells? My cell's you say?! Who gave you those?! THEY'RE MINE?!?! DID SOMEONE STEAL THEM FROM ME WHILE I WAS SLEEPING?! WHO'RE YOU?! HUH?!''
As he began shouting in his most awkward face he calmed himself a bit and remembered the days he used to argue with his old rival Madara whom he received a slight grin from; pure because of the good old times he thought of.
''Aha, Yamato. Sorry for my behavior. I sometimes get carried away... aha... Orochimaru. Who's this fodder you're talking about!? Danzo?! Have no idea of whom they are... anyway so you can use wood huh?''
As he proceeded speaking, he took a deep breath and began throwing out words non stop, like he was hasty.
''What is wood what do you know about wood whom elements do you need to combine to get wood can you use wood ever managed to force it out the ground from underneath you you like wood like trees flowers they're nice huh muscle muscle power power that's what wood is all about water nice huh I love water and earth oh so wonderful''
As he began stutter out of the sudden he remembered that this was a serious case and suddenly changed his expression into a serious one and changed his posture into a focused and determined one.

Yamato was dumbfounded at the sudden realization that he was talking to the legend himself, Senju Hashirama. But he was quite disappointed because he was expecting Shodaime to be more regal or more intelligent-speaking. He was reminded suddenly of someone and spoke without thinking.
"You're just as dumb as Naruto." -.-
Then after realizing what he had said he quickly replied in a nervous, apologetic tone.
"Ahh my apologies Shodaime-sama."
Yamato then changed his expression as well to try to impress him. This was the man who he had been compared to all of his life. He didn't want to be a smartass but he didn't want to disappoint either. So he tried to remember all that he had learned from his experiences and what Kakashi-senpai had taught him.
"Ahem. Well from what I learned, our kekkei genkai (kkg) allows us to combine our water and earth chakra simultaneously to create organic life in the form of trees, flowers, and plants like grass and such. I can even use my body's cells as an conduit to create organic life. This kkg is known as Mokuton or Wood Release/Style. Our wood is quite different from other kkg in that it allows us to suppress chakra or more specifically Bijuu chakra. With its suppression powers, we can weaken Jinchuuriki with their Bijuu. This is helpful in controlling them and keeping the order in the world. Your battle with Madara was a testament to your prowess with Mokuton. I still can't believe that you fought a such a man especially with the aid of the Kyuubi. Simply magnificent."
Yamato then tries to show off hoping he can make something to impress his predecessor.
"Watch this, Shodaime-sama!"
Yamato channels his chakra and by combining his earth and water chakra at the same time, he creates a....small, withering piece of what looks like a tree root with a small little flower but the flower soon wilts and dies.
"(under his breath) Great....now I look like a douche."
Yamato then looks looks down in disappointment and speaks to Hashirama without lifting his head to see him. He was far too embarassed.
"My apologies, Shodaime-sama. I seem to have lost my confidence with you here. Not to mention I haven't done this in a while. This is why I asked you to help me. I need some help getting my wood up. I want to make majestic trees like you."

As you created the flower which eventually died and fell like nothingness I within' a blink of an eye disappear and eventually re-appear behind you as I tap upon your shoulder, making you feel a tremendous power of chakra and strength; a surge and light of warmth, determination and astonishing power.

As he spoke, he walked around the man and stood right in front of him and jumped a few feet back.

[*]How to counter the technique;[/list]Anyway, wood is extremely weak against lightning, you can't let lightning travel trough wood since it would pierce trough it as you mentioned before, however if wood get's in contact with fire, the wood will continue as a wooden thing covered with fire, let's say that an S-Ranked technique wood technique get's in touch with a B-Ranked fire technique, the wood would continue towards the one you are aiming it on, but the wood wouldn't be able to travel from a short range distance to long range, since it would collapse in ashes, it could be possible if it was from short range to mid range.''
After listening to Shodaime-sama, Yamato then became amazed at what he would soon be able to do with Mokuton. He replied excitedly as he smiled.
"Wow....I didn't know I was capable of that much. I am going to enjoy our training, Shodaime-sama."
Hashirama wondered, how happy this man would actually be but still amazed by the fact that he actually can use the element that Hashirama himself created and felt excitement too as he began to speak in a respectful manner towards the big eyed ''kid''.
''As you know, Wood Release is the combination of Suiton and Doton to create an entirely new element (Wood). So I want you to begin by sitting on the ground and meditate. As you meditate I want you to focus on both Nature Manipulations. I want you to begin to focus your Suiton and Doton chakra into your left and right arms, respectively. Give it a shot!!!''
Yamato sat down on a nice, cool spot beneath the shade of a tree. It helped give him inspiration. Although he had done this before many times, this was his first in a long time since he had meditated. He sat down, indian style, then closed his eyes and focused on the energy in his body. He remembered the concepts of chakra...spiritual energy....physical energy. He imagined both those energies in his body converging and flowing through his body in the form of chakra. He felt his chakra flow steadily then slowly rising like a tidal wave.
"(slow breathing) ........"
With his eyes still closed, Yamato then placed his open hands, palms facing up, on each of his knees and then created a small orb of water and earth in each respective hand. Using a constant chakra flow in each palm, he made the water orb rotate and and the earth orb rotate. It took a while to control them so they didn't explode. He controlled his chakra to a precise amount, not too much and not too little. He continued doing this for a long while as he waited for Shodaime-sama to come back from his break.
''Good, keep breathing in and out, and keep your eyes shut.''
As Hashirama spoke, he walked around the man as he was sitting in an Indian way. He slightly let his chakra loose to support Yamato, but did not do much. Just a warmth and comfortable chakra that helps concentrating.
''Alright, now Excellent. Now, I want you to slam both your hands into the ground, releasing all the built up chakra. As you release it, I want you to focus and use the chakra that you have sent into the ground to create small roots. As you're doing this think about life. I want you to think and imagine life in its most natural state. Think about anything that has life and manifest the feeling into the chakra. The imagery should allow you to produce the life giving element, Mokuton. This will create tiny roots from the ground. Simple enough, now give it a try.''
With his eyes still closed and after listening to Shodaime-sama, Yamato gracefully switches from indian-style to crouching on his feet without losing concentration on the orbs in his hand. He returns the chakra back to his hands and the orbs dissolve. He then places both hands together to channel more chakra towards his hands. He takes slow, deep breaths and remembers about his days as a kid. When he was small, Danzō showed him how to control his wood release. Though he was cold and showed hardly any emotion, he was fortunate to have been saved. He felt the sensation of happiness as he recalled when he had started creating new techniques and how well they had developed. Though he was always getting compared to Shodaime-sama, Kakashi-senpai was the only one to acknowledge him not just for his talents but for who he was. He owed much to him and as he thought how grateful he was he slammed his hands on the ground. He let his emotion in the form of chakra enter the ground and in it create a seed. The more chakra he channeled into the seed the more it continued to grow roots below to support it. He felt this was his passion, his will as Kinoe, Tenzō, and Yamato. He felt like he belonged finally and as he smiled the seedling sprouted out of the ground and created what looked like roots. Some of the roots seemed to have some leaves on it. He felt like he was doing it. He was getting it...finally after so long he felt like he was actually doing something right.
"Omg Shodaime! I am doing it! I am actually making roots! Woohoo!"
As Hashirama noticed the man getting emotional whilst sensing a strong and warm feeling as of it was like yesterday the day he found out about the very own KG he created, the small roots that erupted from underground and could not stop crying how proud he was of the fact that he did succeed in doing it and suddenly became over-excited as he was happy for his student.
''GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! I'm so proud of you! Now let's start the real stuff!!!!! Mix your earth and water chakra as before but instead I want you to stand up and then channel it into the ground until you are capable of forming a small pillar of wood which you afterwards need you to spin around it and kick it as my water clone which I will now create tries to attack you with a frontal punch and with that; kick the arm aside.''
As he spoke and mentioned the water clone a water clone suddenly appeared next to him whom began running towards Yamato about to punch him straight against the face.

After listening to Shodaime's instructions, Yamato channels his chakra by clasping his hands together. Seeing the clone come towards him, he combines his earth and water chakra by channeling it into the ground and quickly growing a thin wooden pole to his left side. While still embedded into the ground, Yamato then grabs the pole with both hands and as the clone comes within distance of him he uses the pole to spin himself. As soon as he has a hit on the clone, the pole breaks off and with the momentum he keeps spinning and hitting the enemy launching them both in midair. Almost like a shuriken spinning, he continues and then with the pole he delivers a final blow as he comes crashing down and poofs.
"Take that faker!"
How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skills, creative use, etc): It can be used like a stripper's pole and allow you to spin around it. You can kick people while spinning or grabbing them and spinning them around and launch them into the air. The pole can break off as well and be used as a bō staff which then gives you a free weapon to be used in battle. I assume since it is made of wood that it is somewhat durable so even better.
Oh I forgot about lighting it on fire and striking with it. O_O
Limitations of the technique: It is thin and can break due to the low rank and depending on what you are striking. Hard surfaces like durable earth and steel (iron?) can break through it. Lightning of course will crush it. xD
How to counter the technique: Lightning is too cliche and it varies on how you use it so not lightning counter from me. I suggest fighting on with a sword such as a Katana or other type of sword. Tanto's not so much since they are small and light. They won't be able to resist much.
[*]Questions regarding the technique: Would it be durable if you stick a sword in one end and try to make a makeshift Naginata? I don't know if the pole is hollowed out if not couldn't you manipulate the wood to make a small opening for the sword?
Hashirama somehow was astonished by the fact that this man without ever having any knowledge or whatsoever except on the fact that he could only cause roots to erupt from the ground knew this much about these technique's by a mere instruction...
''Well, I shouldn't do it with this. I would simply use it as the description says of the technique. Gotta stick to the rules Yamato! You can of course use it as an bamboo staff but the makeshift naginata? I would use the D-Ranked wooden technique which you will learn soon in teose cases so that you can shape the wooden in whatever you desire... understood?!''
As Hashirama spoke, he proceeded and told the man what to do next.
''Now, moving on. I want you to begin by combing a large amount of suiton and doton chakra into each hand of you to create the oh so famous wood. Then I want you to focus it all into your hands. As you concentrate the chakra there, I want you to focus and use the chakra to create four small kunai sized projectiles into each one of your hand (two on each hand) and eventually to throw it towards me to see how firm they really are. And yes, you may throw it towards my face but I am god and supreme so nothing can harm me.''
As he spoke, he slightly created a hair-flip to the right as he awkwardly looked awful and stumbled a little as he got ashamed of himself and bent on his knees to let the embarrassment pass by and evolved into a complete other man just a second after that, regaining his might he had and once again stood firm in front of his scary looking eyed man ready to teach him more.

Brief description of how you perform the technique: Applying his previous knowledge of mixing his two chakras and creating organic life, Yamato got into position by slightly separating his legs, left foot forward and his right foot behind him. He stretches both arms out forward and takes a deep breath. He concentrates closely at Shodaime and takes a deep breath as he channels his chakra and imagines it combining within him. He then releases 2 projectiles from each hand but they look like misshapen arrowheads and don't reach far. Yamato gives a look of disappointment and mutters under his breath.
"(sigh) Really? How pathetic..."
Yamato then concentrates again like he previously did while channeling and combining his chakra. He adds more chakra this time and focuses harder. He imagines how a senbon looks and tries to imagine it a bigger size though not bigger than a kunai. When he is prepared, he looks forward and smirks thinking he now has the confidence. He releases the pent up chakra in the form of kunai-sized wood senbon. The speed at which they travel is remarkable by Yamato's standards and he smiles as he sees them flying towards Shodaime. A slight hesitation in his voice is present when he speaks to his sensei.
"I hope you can dodge them sensei." O__O
How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skills, creative use, etc): This is pretty handy alternative to regular kunai. As long as you have sufficient chakra you could keep using this and you don't have to waste time grabbing them from your pouch. I am a fan of long range techniques so this is even better for me. As far as using in battle though I was thinking of lighting them on fire as they go out so they can cause more damage than the projectiles themselves can do. Not sure how or if you could incorporate explosive tags to this. Smoke bombs seems a good one to use to mask the projectiles.
How about using water to expand the projectiles and cause more damage? .-.

This makes them susceptible to blocking techniques like wind and earth walls. I don't know if the density of the wood could pass through water walls but I would assume that it would diminish its speed at the least.
How to counter the technique: I haven't learned other wood blocking technique but earth and wind seem to do a good job. But for me that would be too cliche. I would probably go with hiding like a mole technique (still cliche) or using the same technique to counter the incoming projectiles. Hey! That wood pole you showed me, could that be used in a twirling motion to block the projectiles?
Questions regarding the technique: Once the projectiles are launched, is it possible to use shadow clone shuriken technique with this? If not, would it be better to make it into a CJ? Also would it be okay to use a small fireball to light the projectiles on fire or would the projectiles be too fast for the fireball?

As Hashirama observed how the man did the exact things he told him to do with quite some effort, but eventually succeeded in doing everything he told him into a quite quick succession which he was proud off. After Hashirama told him a few things to tell on how to use the technique's etc, he hesitated a moment and halted to answer the man's question about the wooden pole technique.
''Yes, you can indeed. You can also use the pole as an combination to launch the kunai's in a quicker rate towards your opponent, but you can indeed deflect them too!''
As he answered the mans question, he proceeded to answer the other barrage of questions when simultaneously deflecting the kunai's which his student thrown towards him.
''Yes, that's possible. Just the clone shuriken technique whom my little brother created would do. And of course, wood can always be set on fire but keep in mind that strong fire ranked technique's that are two or three ranks higher than the wood can simply devour them and turn them into ashes within' a blink of an eye, so yeah. A D-Ranked fire technique would keep them on fire for a longer time than a C-Ranked fire technique. For example; when you throw these kunai's and enlighten them with fire with an D-Ranked technique, then the kunai's would easily reach mid ranged area, maybe even long ranged but I wouldn't try that in case your opponent is standing long ranged away from you. And if you throw these kunai's and light them on fire with a C-Ranked fire technique then they would reach Short range with ease, but would turn into ashes if they surpass the short ranged edge. Understood?!''
As Hashirama lectured the man and gave him a little knowledge, he took a deep breath and gave him a thumb up with a slight blink with his eye like he remembered his very own old friend; Might Dai's father always did which gave him a slight goosebump as he remembered the terrifying thick and large eyebrows and simply continued as he sighed.

By mixing his earth and water chakra simultaneously and creating wood style chakra he then sends it towards the ground to where his sensei is and grows a wooden dummy out of the ground. He tries again like he did before and creates another wooden dummy. The looked quite dull to Yamato so for fun he manipulates the wood on the dummy and adds a tengu nose to both the dummies to make them look silly.

How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skills, creative use, etc): From a teacher's perspective, this wood (pun
) be very beneficial to help in training for multiple reasons. That and fooling around with students. xDBut seriously, in a fight it could be used as a distraction although unlike moku bunshins this one has no features so it could easily be discovered. I just got a cj idea lol. xD
Limitations of the technique: I assume that the dummy is brittle so it can be easily broken so not really intended for fighting let alone some of the OP members of NB. >_> Also it can't be created to very long distances so thus can only be summoned up to mid-range of the user.
How to counter the technique: Throw a rock at it? .__.
A lightning jutsu that could break it would work effectively as well as a higher rank taijutsu. I think earth techniques could break it but I don't know how sturdy the dummy is.

As he laughed and told his student that he was enjoying training him made him wonder how his student would do in an actual battle and had the urge to attack him head on, but waited, just for a little longer.

Description: By focusing chakra and performing the Bird → Dog → Snake hand seals, the user makes wood pillars sprout from the ground and cover his whole body, while using chakra to cover it with precision to produce the desired effect. By covering the wood with his chakra the user is able to transform it into another shape or form with increased detail, by using his wood chakra. This is used to create an effect similar to the transformation technique but to a higher degree of detail and realism.
Brief description of how you perform the technique: Yamato thought it would be funny to scare his sensei with a form that embodied terror and despair. So upon some thinking and analysis, Yamato quickly channels as much chakra as he can while performing the Bird → Dog → Snake handsigns and releases it into the earth. Using his now growing prowess with wood release, he causes wood to grow out of the ground like roots that begin to immediately cover him. As the technique nears its completion, he imagines the form and figure of Kyuudaime Hokage, Galen Marek. He envisions a truly terrifying man with chakra more fouler than even Madara Uchiha's or Kurama, The Nine Tailed Bijuu. He imagines all the details he could remember, especially the mole on his neck that seemed to call at you when you looked at it. With enough luck and precise chakra control, he soon became the man the whole Ninja World feared. However, since this was Yamato and he was more down to earth, this seemed to scare Shodaime more. He walks up casually to him.
"Woooo! Look at me! I am Galen. Blah blah blah. (makes funny faces)"

How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skills, creative use, etc): If this is more advanced than the other transformation technique then if you throw a smoke bomb then use this quickly, you could fool your opponent into thinking you are someone else. This could really put a kick in your step if you have the same abilities as the one you are copying. It might scare some people to go around pretending to be Scorps.
Other than appearance, I don't think I would use this much but its there for cosmetic/comedic purposes.
Limitations of the technique: You have to keep it constantly active in order to use it so in the long run it might not be smart to use unless you know how to manage yourself without dying or taking much damage. As he got disgusted by the looks of a strange fodder, which he somehow remembered but in his head knew all too well who it was but acted differently nonetheless because of not fearing him as he had faced him many times before. The only man he slightly feared, but respect pure because of his fighting skills was the one and only Madara uchiha, and none other than that.

As Hashirama changed in his student, he now proceeded training in this form and told him further instructions on how to perform the next technique.

It can get erupted from underneath, can be performed whilst in the air and can even erupt from under water because of wood being so strong, forcing itself out the water. Or, if you just use logic, you'll know that you can create wood from water by inserting earth, combining it with the water thus creating wood. There are maaaaaaaaaaaaany combinations, to use this technique and you can do maaaaaaaany things with this technique, so give it a try! Perfor-... oh. I'm, it's, yeah....''
As Hashirama started stuttering, he stepped two steps back as he had just realized how close he was talking to his student and still was in his ''Yamato'' disguise so with a chakra blast, the wood redeemed from his body with ease as he started to laugh awkwardly towards his student.
