Wood clones vs shadow clones

I say wood clones are better for somethings and shadow clones for others. Wood clones as you can divide the chackra as how you want. But that is also a downfall. As then the clones are weak most of the time. Also you can tell the difference between original and the clone. The shadow clone divides perfectly. So its good for reconnaissance. I think wood clones are good for getting away with things as you can branch off. I don't know about which one is better durability wise? What do you guys think which one is better for which. I am to lazy to expand on my ideas.

In my opinion wood clones are stronger durability wise. But as for usefulness I think shadow clones are better because like you said it is much more difficult to tell the difference between them. Also, idk about other clones but the shadow clones have the benefit of information and experience transfers back to the original.

Nah I remember yamato with his clone saw the 4 tail naruto and his main knew. I should double check though.

King I know overall wood is better. If you think about it shadows are better in some areas like reconnaissance. That is what I am comparing what is better for what. Or it is better to hide as the chackra is split equally.

its all the same wood and smoke is the only difference, the clones do the same shit, and madara only said the wood clones are the most powerful because hashirama has a lot of chakra to putinto them to make them that strong, most ninja that use clones dnt have that much chakra, naruto kage bushin and hashirama's wood bushin are the only clones that have beed extremely powerful because of the users large amount of chakra...the more chakra, the stronger the clone will be but i will say this zetsu's clones are pretty powerful too but they are a bit different but it is called a clone and it cloned kisame pretty damn good....and nagato made itachi and kisame clones and kisame clone only had 30% of his chakra and forced guy to 6th gate so thats a pretty powerful clone
