Shadow clones divide your chakra proportional to the amount of clones you make. So they consume much more chakra.

It seems you can control the amount of chakra that you give to your wood clone.

I personally think wood clones are better. So which technique is more versatile and superior to the other?

Depends on who is using the tech. One persons shadow clone can be god like but an low trained shinobi's shadow clone could be unreliable. Vice versa...

Kage Bunshin are better. Moku Bunshin are showing signs of being weaker than the original user in fashion similar to Mizu Bunshin. Like the Kage having a hard time with the original Madara but then being able to take on 5 Moku bunshin of Madara each. That and the fact they're elemental Bunshin, and the other elemental Bunshin with feats are weaker than the users.

Kage Bunshin are better. Moku Bunshin are showing signs of being weaker than the original user in fashion similar to Mizu Bunshin. Like the Kage having a hard time with the original Madara but then being able to take on 5 Moku bunshin of Madara each. That and the fact they're elemental Bunshin, and the other elemental Bunshin with feats are weaker than the users.

Hmm, you have a point here but what about Kakashi's raiton kage bunshin that was fighting Deva and Asura then during a long time?

Kage Bushin > Mokuton Bushin

Kage Bushins are exact copies of the user, so everything the original user can do the clone can do as well. Mokuton Bushin cant even enter sage mode, and madara already stated that it was fodder compaired to the original.

Mokuton bunshins are arguably the best clones shown. As you said they dont divide up the casters chakra like kage binshins do, & they can take a harder beating than kage bunshins as well.

Wood Clone is the Oped out of everyone. it can withstand more damage than shadow clones, and it can track a person undetected. its the perfect clone as madara stated

lol, are you reading the right manga? Mokuton Clones are the same as Shadow Clones except they are more durable and don't poof after one shot. They even use the same hand sign.
