only a few Uchihas awoke the MS? I mean during so many years of reincarnations/wars/battles etc you expect to lose close/dear friends/family. So how come that out of all these battles only a few got the MS? Your best friend/closest friend dying in NV is not something "new" or "difficult" to achieve.
Am I missing sth? facing death as a shinobi everyday will eventually "force" you to die so why in the Uchiha clan there were just a few to unlock the MS? plot?

Many Uchiha did achieve MS. Look back at episode 388. But maybe the rest did not because they overcame their feelings getting to them. :eww:
