Wondering why the SAGE mode is from cold blooded animal. ..?

Just want to know why kishi made the sage mode were learn from only the reptile and amfimbia animal. ? Why not tigers and lion or anything else. ? Pls anyone told me

maybe because he likes those animals or they fit the character itself. EX: oro behaves like a snake and summons snakes . Itachi uses crows in his style of fighting and summons them.
