Without Izanagi, Tobi could have been killed by Konan

Do you think Tobi could have been killed by Konan if he's not capable of using Izanagi? Or maybe he has some other jutsu that could help him escape that ocean of paper bombs. xd

Among the Akatsuki, Konan has the shortest battle before dying. It's so upsetting. Other Akatsuki members had at least 5 episodes of battle before dying.

He was unable because he needs a bit of time to absorb himself and move through dimensions, time that Konan didn't give.

Konan explained this already:

- He cant dematerialise for more than 5 mins - she had 10 mins of paper bombs
- He couldnt teleport away because he needs to rematerialise to teleport - and when he rematerialises the paper bombs would stick to him - so even if he teleported the paper bombs would follow him into the portal and explode

izanagi allowed illusion to become reality and therefore he could escape her explosions - recreating himself behind konan

I seriously hope your kidding...shes the only female in the whole of Naruto who does anything of value, and shes the person whos gotten the closest to killing Tobi out of Everyone.

Not a bad idea, he could have phased through the wall of paper bombs - but as konan controlled (i think 3billion?) Paperbombs - the whole lake maybe- she could have probably moved the paper bombs with him.

He did try to get to her the whole time he was intangible.

If konan didn't have a trap Rdy she would have lost much quicker...hell sakura could have done what konan done if knew tobi abilities as well as konan did. Konan is overestimated by many because she set a trap.

OT: I have been thinking this same thing. If it wasnt for izanami, "Tobi" would of been finished. But look how Konan figured him out (his techs. and how his intangible jutsu works)! And then on top of that Konan she set up & timed everything perfect. Tobi got his ass handed to him.
