"Ooh, sizzling. One will bring their hands together, and electrical energy to crackle around them. The user will then slam their hands onto the ground, sending said current blasting through the ground towards your foe! Multiple tendrils are unleashed upon touching the ground. Simply put, an easy technique to break down some Earthen structures, and perhaps quickly electrify some Water source. However, slamming hands onto the ground can put you in an odd position at times, as well as possibly having to keep the hands connected to the ground. Hm. All the way to Long range too, useful..against those pesky Organization members!"

Okabe moves on to the next technique, scratching his head.

(Raiton: Hiraishin) – Lightning Release: Lightning Rod

"Raise your hand into the air, and conduct some Lightning based chakra. Through doing so, one will unleash it with fury upon an assailant. Quite simple usage, however very linear and could easily be dodged or countered. Raising one's hand can also be seen as an offensive maneuver. Nonetheless, a nice technique for a quick response as well, although not liked by yours truly."

He says, his voice now a bit judgemental.

(Raiton: Torunedo Raitoningu) - Lightning Release: Tornado Lightning

"Ah, Lightning based whips! Through streaming Lightning, one is able to create an almost tangible type of rope, capable of lashing at foes from afar. Quite simple, can be used to grab opponents, whip them, slash some obstacles, or simply restrain them through shock. Several uses, and easily made through manipulation. I don't see why I won't use this..ONLY IN BATTLE THOUGH."

He says, sweat dripping from his face.

(Raiton: Raijū Hashiri no Jutsu) - Lightning Release: Lightning Beast Running Technique

"Ah yes, a good technique where the user will manipulate their Lightning chakra to their dominant hand, and radiate it outward, creating a hound like shape. This stays attached to the users' hand through a bolt of Lightning and rampages towards the opponent. Quite simple, though stops the user from using something else, and actually gives me a good plan, hm. Either way, I'd use it to break through some obstacles and run onward to the opponent, or simply chase them around with my hound of death! I am guessing the hound is in a semi solid like state to inflict both shock, and blunt damage."

Okabe says, as he gets ready for the next technique.

(Raiton: Gian Yari) - Lightning Style: False Darkness Spear

"A spear of Lightning is emitted from the users' mouth, and can be split apart to launch at multiple targets. Another easy one, where the range is extremely beneficial to take down Organization members from afar, haha! Or simply pinpoint a specific incoming technique and destroy it with ease. Though its linear nature might be a disadvantage."

Okabe says, swaying his hands around as he describes it.

(Raiton: Raiton Kage Bunshin) - Lightning Release: Lightning Shadow Clone

"FINALLY, ANOTHER OKABE. A technique where the user creates a clone made of Lightning chakra, solid in its form. When hit, the clone would form into its Lightning state, and is able to Ninjutsu and Taijutsu up to what the user knows, as well as B rank Lightning. A very nice technique if you need an electrifying copy, or simply mess around with the foe in general, as this clone is capable of causing quite some damage. Would have been cool if he could explode, MUAHAHA!"

Description: The user will take out two large shuriken or Windmill Shuriken and channel their raiton chakra into them. They will then throw them at their target to pin them down and maintain a connection with the shuriken through a electrical cable that delivers a numbing shock to paralyse the target and restrict their movements.
Note: Numbing Effect lasts for one turn.

(Chō Biburāto Raitontō) - Super Vibrating Lightning Release Sword

"OH, a technique that enhances ones' sword through the use of charging Lightning chakra into it. This causes it to increase in vibrational frequency, making it more deadly to slice through objects. Quite simple in its usage and adds some danger to the common sword strike. I am guessing its easily seen as a blue aura might engulf the blade, and warn an opponent before hand of the new addition to the sword's power. Nonetheless, definitely something I'd use to slice through some obstacles, and people alike."

Okabe smiles, an evil aura engulfs him.

(Raiton: Dai Denki hōden no Jutsu ) - Lightning Release: Large Electrical Discharge Technique

"In this technique, a Ram hand seal is formed and the user has to raise their hand to the air once more. This triggers an electrical discharge, which fires and sizzles the opponent with a down strike. Simple enough, a linear blast downward, indicated by a raising hand. Nice way to electrify a water source, as well as pinpoint an opponent from afar, due to the range it can reach. Overall, useful but also easily dodged, definitely would need to be combined with some other technique for optimal effect."

Okabe grabs a small bottle of soda from his lab jacket, and takes a sip. The training was quite something.

(Raiton: Shuriken Seigyo no Jutsu) - Lightning Release: Shuriken Control Technique

"A technique that requires the use of a Windmill shuriken, or two normal Shuriken, and Lightning chakra is channeled into them. They are then launched towards the foe, and through the use of an electrical cable, contact is maintained as well as the current, allowing the Shuriken to deliver the shocking reality of life to the foe. It restricts their muscles by causing a numbing effect, pretty useful if it does strike its target. Generally though, shuriken are easily dodged and countered."

"Hm, after the formation of some hand seals, and through the use of manipulating Lightning, one will fire out an electrical discharge. This causes a specific explosion which can only be described as a signal flare. It carries no damage purposes, meaning its possibly only for story purposes, or perhaps to let someone know that you are in trouble, and that you need some help. Could perhaps be used to blind an opponent, depending on where its shot. Overall, not a very useful technique in battle..I don't see how this will help fend off those Organization bastards!"

Okabe fires a random signal, it engulfs the sky quickly.

( Raiton: Amigumo ) - Lightning Style: Spider Webs

"A technique where the Lightning is focused to a hand, and placed on the ground. Its then released outward around the user, creating an intricate Lightning like web of Lightning, which shocks whoever comes into contact with it. Pretty much a good technique to fend off some close range users, or even just suddenly shock someone. It also travels all the way to Mid range making it so much more useful that the previous technique that we had gone through in the C ranks, that had a similar effect. Other than that, I can see myself using this one. Though one's hand should probably stay on the ground.."

Okabe shakes at the idea of spider webs, he never liked spiders, and this technique somehow reminded him!

(Raiton: Raisen) Lightning Release: Lightning Flash

"A technique where a Lightning infused Fuma is launched at the opponent. This hits them back, but also, the trail the Fuma Shuriken leaves behind is deadly and can still stun the opponent. Very nice, double usage purposes, however, extremely linear and easy to dodge."

Okabe checks his ninja pouch, realizing he has no Fuma Shuriken! A trip to the shop would suffice.

( Raiton: Raisogekishin ) - Lightning Release: Lightning Rat Violent Quake

"After forming four hand seals, through the manipulation of Lightning chakra, the user will fire from their hands, disks of Lightning. These blasts towards the opponent, and aim to strike them. A projectile like technique, where things are fired, and can impact if rightly aimed. Quite simple in usage, as well as utilizing it in general."

An idea of disk shape like blasts enter Okabe's mind. These techniques were quite easy to understand at this point.

Description: The user must first perform the following sequence of hand seals Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey and they will then focus lightning chakra into their hand to create a lightning jutsu that is concentrated in the user's palm and thrusted toward the opponent at high speed. The lightning in the user's palm sounds like birds chirping, hence the name, and allows the user to perform high grade cutting damage or high penetration piercing thrusts.
Note: Someone who mastered lightning release can perform chidori with just the Ox hand seal.
Note: Uchiha Sasuke and Kakashi Hatake bios can use the technique without handseals

(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

Description: After performing a small sequence of 3 hand seals the user will place their hand on the ground converting their chakra in to lightning. The user then sends an enormous bolt of electricity that cuts through the ground in the direction of the enemy. The shape of the bolt is a triangular with the base in the direction of the user and the tip headed towards the target. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

(Raiton: Chidori) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds

"CHIDORI!!! Famous technique, after forming all those hand seals one will focus a large amount of Lightning into your hand. This will cause Lightning to be concentrated in the palm area, and be used to strike the opponent, or deliver a thrust like motion. It got its name from the sound it makes when created, however, despite for fame purposes this is also a dead giveaway if you are trying to go for the stealth approach. Although strong, requires you to go close to the opponent to deliver the strike, puts you in harm's way. Also, if you fail to pierce whatever was your initial target, your arm might become a target, or simply you. Great to use in close range, doesn't give the opponent much room to escape. Honestly, something I'd use to dramatically blast through some structures."

Okabe says, as he looks at his right hand intensely.

(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current

"Chidori NAGASHI! A technique where the user will unleash non-focused electricity. This is done either omni-directionally or simply charged into weapons or the ground. Due to its nature, it doesn't kill only delivers a paralyzing effect. However, one can only either release it omni-directionally, or charge it through a medium, and not both. Also, one needs to have contact with the medium it seems. Its a fairly useful technique, to unleash upon the opponent, or charge through a sword, or held weapon that makes contact with the opponent. Other than that, not much else to say about it."

Okabe says, as he unleashes it into the ground through contract, destroying small branches.

(Raiton: Ikazuchi Hakai) – Lightning Release: Lightning Destruction

"After forming three hand seals and using some Lightning chakra. The user will place their hand onto the ground and charge Lightning through it, and cause it to form a bolt of Lightning in a triangle shape to blast towards the foe. The base of the triangle is on the users' side, and the tip heads towards the user. Quite a destructive technique, and delivers quite some power. However, it requires the user to place their hands onto the ground, as well as keep focus of the bolt heading to the foe. Overall, a great technique to use when someone tries to come too close. Other than that, pretty generic."

Okabe says, as he thinks about how the organization influenced Ninjutsu...a triangle....

Because the technique requires no handseals and is done with simple hand movements, its extremely hard to avoid while in short range and quite dangerous to counter due to the precision attacks it can be used to perform.

Using this technique, the user creates sixteen giant pillars by using his lightning chakra to shape the ground into a multitude of pillars, which then form a giant cubic oven to trap the enemy. It is often used after Earth Release: Mud Fall to cover the enemy target in mud and then follow up with using Fire release: Firing Biscuit, creating flames in the oven to roast and harden the mud, immobilizing the enemy.
