So as you may know, Fuuinjutsu can be split into two main aspects in our RP: Barriers and actual seals. We'll cover those as we get to them however I want you to tell me what you know of Barriers, Seals and Fuuinjutsu as a whole.

Also, to clear up any confusion, body seals are a part of Advanced Fuuinjutsu; an additional purchase and training before you are able to use them on your bio.

Fuuinjutsu in 6 parts:

The Object/Target of the Seal - The intended object, will, subject of seal.

The Medium/Vessel - The vessel. Some seals are, themselves, a the medium and the vessel.

The Trigger - not all seals have this but 90% of them have. Its what triggers the sealing technique.

The Binding - the altering of the vessel to allow it to serve as a medium for the target of the seal.

Chakra - all seals require chakra to be produced, maintained or released.

The Key - not all seals have this but most do. Its the key to unlock the seal and release whatever is sealed back into the world.

Very good, so even barriers follow some of these steps... so it'll be your job to break each technique down into that formula if possible.

We'll start with some barriers.

( Isshi Tōjin ) - Light String Formation
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: This barrier is designed to prevent anyone from leaving its confines. Once within a certain range of the person, the user erects the barrier underfoot rendering anyone within the seals, incapable of escaping. Should the user use on someone of a higher rank than him, than the effects will be null. However, should 2 or more barriers are combined, then the effects will be increased one rank ( Kages would effect Sages now, for example ).

This is the jutus Iruka used to prevent Naruto from leaving Turtle Island and joining the war. For you to increase the strength of the barrier, you will need a clone or ally to also perform the barrier.

( Fuuinjutsu: Kōmu Kekkaijutsu ) - Sealing Arts: Crimson Mist Barrier Jutsu
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: By summoning a thick wall of mist, the user can impair sight for all within it. It also masks any sound from being heard outside of the mist. The effectiveness of this technique varies between users as it depends on the user's skill. Starting at Chunnin rank, this lasts for 1 turn and can be extended 1 turn per rank increase up to Kage rank (6 turns). Chunnin and Special Jounin can use this up to Short range, Jounin and S-class Ninja can use this up to Mid range and Sannin and up can extend this to long range.

This is the jutsu used by the New Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, in the Boruto Anime. So this uses the old ranking systems and I'll have to double check the duration with the new ranks, but I believe it is as follows:

Genin: 1 turn, short range
Chuunin: 2 Turns, Mid range
Jounin: 3 Turns, Long range
Sage: 4 Turns, long range.

That being said, I'm going to get you the correct answer and hopefully have the technique edited soon.

Okay, so Barriers don't have a key, they just dissipate when over-powered or run out of chakra. In terms of the chakra component, you don't have to state the obvious in what rank it is... I want you to tell me where the chakra is coming from; whether it be the user, self sustained or even from the target.
In terms of the trigger... you can't state 'nothing' and then say initiated by the user xD The trigger is the user initiating it via whatever action; hand signs, words etc.

I also want you to ask any questions and add a general analysis of the jutsu I post, as well as the break down into the components.

(Kekkai: Tengai Hojin) - Barrier: Dome Method Formation
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra cost: 20 (- 10 per turn to keep active)
Damage points: N/A
Description: After clapping ones hands, this technique creates a spherical detection barrier above ground with the user at the center. At the user's command, the detection barrier can expand, grasping everything in the battle field. The user is able to detect anything that moves inside the barrier space with his or her own "sense".

We saw Jiraiya use this during his battle with Pein, using it to grant him a 'sixth sense' as it where. This only has a radius of mid-range but continues to follow the user with them as the epicentre, so long as you spend the chakra to maintain it. This chakra drain is passive and thus you'll be able to keep fighting and maintain this as long as you are willing to spend the chakra.

(Kekkai Houjin) - Barrier Method Battle Array
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: Kekkai Houjin is a high-level Fuuinjutsu trap technique. An array of explosive markers is jointly placed around the boundary of an area. If any opponent walks through the boundary, the seals will activate and explode.

A proximity trap; this is a set of linked explosive tags, though more powerful than the basic tags, that will respond to a foreign chakra crossing the perimeter. Generally, four in a box formation is enough, just making sure the area enclosed is no greater than short-ranged.

A sensing barrier that allows the user to know if something is there even if they can't see it. Sensing moving, not the physical un-moving object.

(Kekkai Houjin) - Barrier Method Battle Array
The Object/Target of the Seal - Explosive paperbombs
The Medium/Vessel - Anything the user places the seal on.
The Trigger - Opponent entering the seal's range of detection

(Kekkai Kireme no Jutsu) - Barrier Shatter Technique
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will insert their chakra into a active barrier to then interfere with the source and cancel the barrier shattering its shell.
Note: Must make direct contact and only works with up to B rank barriers.

With this one, you fan break low rank barriers by touching them and inserting your chakra into them.

(Fusen no Kekkai) Tag Barrier
Type: Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: B-rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will take a tag marked with the kanjis 障害 (Shōgai) and either place it on a weapon (like wrapped around a kunai's handle) or on a surface (like the ground). Upon doing so, a defensive spherical barrier is erected around the tag as a seal. The barrier can be used to defend against up to B-Rank ninjutsu but also be used to contain an enemy inside if feasible.

A defensive barrier that is put up around an object or surface.
