Noticing his students has arrived, stands up from his resting position against a tree, stretching his arms up high into the air. More students, not sure what I was thinking but I may as well finish what I started. He thinks to himself as he turns to face his new student.
So, you want to learn kenjutsu? Why is that and how do you intend to incorporate it into your skill set?

"I want to learn Kenjutsu to become more well versed in using this scythe of mine and so I'm not only limited to elemental ninjutsu."Hidan takes the scythe from his back and begins to twirl it before leaning the it on his shoulder.

"I will incorporate it into my fighting style by pressuring my opponents with a combonation of elemental ninjutsu and attacking them with my scythe before finally drawing their blood and sacrificing them to Lord Jashin."He smirks

Right well, so long as you have a clear view of your goals... Most people would think kenjutsu limits you to a sword, though we can indeed utilise your oddly shaped scythe in place of a sword. I however prefer to utilise a sword... Anyway, describe to me the difference between using one hand and two hands when striking your opponent, or at least when attempting to strike them.

A one-handed attack with a sword is weaker but it gives the attacker the freedom to cover a wider range especially since I have this cable attached to my scythe,it also keeps the other hand free, which gives the user the chance to use another attack simultaneously with the other hand. Hidan rubs the back of his head as he continues."Two handed strikes use much more force, and are alternatively pretty good for defense. Also, the more weight that is put into the attack the more risky it is if you miss. I prefer this style of attack as it is better for mauling non believers. He says with a sneer

For you and your scythe, you'd be spending a lot of time in rotating yourself around in order to carry the momentum of a two handed slash right the way around and back again towards your target... if you happen to miss the second time. Normally I'd say the one hand strike would be good for grabbing or using another ninja tool or one handed ninjutsu etc... but the extra distance of your scythe makes that a bit more difficult.
Also, you can utilise your scythe as a staff weapon as well, holding your hands apart in order to parry using the blunt end before slashing out with the scythe itself.

So... come at me with all you have in a freeform match. Just a small test of your ability with descriptions and using that scythe. I have my katana on my left hip.

*Shinta takes up a defensive stance, right foot in front of his left while holding on the the sheath of his sword using his left hand and his right hand hovering just over the handle. Shinta maintains eye contact with his student, ready for his first move.*

Hidan smirks"Finally some action."He quickly charges at Shinta and switches his hands into a reverse position so that the scythe was pointing downward at the ground. He then swings it up into the air above Shinta before pulling the attached cable causing the scythe to rush downward.

So an important part of free form, particularly with your scythe, is that you accurately describe where the blades are pointing as that simply act would determine if you do or do not draw blood from someone. Try again and add a little more detail into the move.

He then throws it up into the air above Shinta before twisting the attached cable making the three blades face downward. Hidan then pulls the cable making the scythe rush down with extreme velocity.

As Hidan motions to swing the scythe into the air, Shinta grabs his sword in his right hand, drawing it just as the Scythe is swung into the air. Before Hidan can pull on the attached cable, Shinta charges wind chakra into his sword and cuts the cable with a one-handed horizontal slash, from his right to left. The scythe harmlessly continues up into the air, landing several meters behind Shinta. Shinta then positions his feet in a 'T' stance, right foot facing Hidan as he pointed his Katana at Hidan's face. Mistake one... you let go of your weapon. That scythe is a mighty weapon you have, though a crude one. I see the advantages in using it with the attached cable, though you must be smart about it.
Shinta the gestures to the scythe with his katana.
Go pick up your scythe and walk over towards that practice dummy. Then proceed to combo several slashes, varying between horizontal, vertical and diagonal slashes. Before finishing with a powerful, final blow. Be sure to utilise both hands to stabilise the scythe as you finish each strike and move onto the next.

Using this scythe, you have to account for the head being extremely heavy compared to the rest of the weapon, meaning you'd have to use the full handle of the scythe in order to catch, stabilise and move onto the next attack, switching hands between each strike if you need to.

Hidan narrows his eyes at his Sensei as he walks past him to retrieve his scythe. He picks it up and confidently walks up to the dummy. He quickly slashes diagonally upward with his right hand leaving a deep scar from the dummy's right hip to its shouler blade. Next he swiftly passes the scythe into his left hand and uses the weight of the blades to bring it back downwards to slash at the other side of the dummy creating an X shape on its abdomen before grabbing the scythe with both hands, swinging it down and burying the blades into the dummy's neck. Finally he front flips over the dummy and with his back to it's back he pulls his scythe out of the dummy's neck, ripping it's head off in the process."Heh,how was that." he says with a confident smirk.

That was... brutal, but expected of someone using a Hidan bio xD

(Ken Rendan no Jutsu) - Sword Barrage Technique

and by starting out with just a few punches, you can finish with two final slashes with your weapon to achieve the following jutsu. (You won't need to perform this)

(Ikari Nomikomu no Jutsu) - Fury Swallow Technique

So yeah, that's basically that jutsu O__O'

Spin around on the spot with your weapon outstretched. What could be a possible opening with this jutsu that could be exploited by your opponent?

"Well,in doing a circular motion your back will be exposed to your opponent for a period of time leaving you vulnerable. Also, since you're only using one hand to control your blade as you spin, your opponent could potentially disarm you with a stronger two handed attack."

Oh,sorry...

Hidan plants his feet firmly onto the ground. As he grips the lower end of the scythe to gain more range in his right hand,he spins around quickly in a circular motion.

Assuming you're still training with me since I see no other teacher posting here... O__O'

In this attack, you'll use your sword as a sort of Pogo-stick... landing on your targets head if possible. Leap up into the air before pointing the tip of your blade down towards the ground, lifting your feet up so they rest a around half-way up the blade but positioned so that you can safely land on the ground if you miss. Hold your weight close to the sword for maximum impact and hold on firmly to the handle... simply so the force is not wasted xD

( Rakkasui ) - Falling Water
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 25
Description: The user will drop down upon the opponent from mid air pointing their sword downwards and drilling it down into the opponent.

So, what could go wrong with this jutsu if not executed properly or against a faster opponent?

Hidan jumps up into the air and points the tip of the first blade of his scythe downwards causing it dig deeply into Shinta's clone's head.Hidan then plants his feet on each of the clone's shoulders before hopping off landing on the ground behind the clone before it poofs into a billowing cloud of smoke.

"They could avoid it and use all the weight you throw down in the attack against you."

and by avoid, you mean they could utilise some form of tai/ken to attack you while airborne O__O'

(Bakuchi Tori Kuzu Oujou) – Gambling Bird Arrowroot Death
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user bolts in front of the enemy who they then strike with their sword handle before delivering several kicks that sends the enemy into the air. The user then bolts across to the far off location of the enemy who they then punch violently into an obstacle.

By bolt, a quick step if you are in range will suffice... or just be in close enough reach to draw your sword enough, so that it is still in its scabbard but enough so the pommel of the handle can strike your target; aiming for the gut for easy reach and to wind them for a moment. This will allow you knee them, spin on the spot and kick them and several other kicks... be creative with your kicks, remembering that you can do all sorts of damage with your kicks (within reason). One final kick will send your target airborne, you'll chase on foot and intercept their landing... with a solid punch, slamming them into a tree, rock or the ground.

Now, how could you use this in battle? Also perform the move, describing in detail your hits, what you aim for etc...

B-ranks now ^^

Without hesitation,Hidan dashes towards Shinta's clone and once he got in close enough range he harshly struck the clone's gut with the handle of his scythe. As the one was doubled over Hidan delivers a knee to it's face before kicking it's right side, cracking it's ribcage before finally landing a kick to it's chin causing the clone to go airbourne. Hidan quickly rushes towards where the clone will land and he throws a solid punch at it,slamming it into a nearby tree causing it to poof into a cloud of smoke. Hidan then turns to the real Shinta.,"I could stun my opponents with a quick lighting style technique before using this technique to either deal a large amount of damage or to attain blood."

Ah yes... Forgot that Hidan loves to obtain people's blood .__.

These two are somewhat similar, in the sense they require a bit of shape manipulation of your chakra around the blade.

(Rensei Shinkuken) – Drilling Crimson Blade
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user takes out their blade and channels chakra into it. They then run towards the opponent, slashing them upwards into the air and then appear above him/her, and deliver a sharp, drilling slash down upon them, impelling them into the ground.

The description tells you what you need to do... what I'm interested in is if you understand the chakra manipulation. Tell me what your chakra is doing around the sword and the effects of it on your opponent. When it says drilling slash, it means you are thrusting the point of your blade towards your target...

(Suraisu Shinku no Nami) - Slicing Crimson Wave
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user does a simple cresent-shaped slash at the opponent, expelling a red chakra wave.

Simple stuff, you do this with many wind jutsu with either your sword or hands... Describe to me what you are doing with your chakra and attack that pillar of solid rock; as per usual, full description of how you strike and the effects you aim for on the target.
