Minato makes his way to the training field, where he was going to teach a student the art of the sword. Something he was quite well versed in, theoretically that is >_>. His speed allowed him to perform some interesting moves with a sword, but he never delved too deep into the art, which is shame, because it was great. Nonetheless, Minato arrives at his student with a smile on his face.
"Hello there, I am Minato Namikaze, and I will be teaching you Kenjutsu. What can you tell me about it? Have you ever held a sword before, if so, how did it feel? Do you think you would do well with a sword?"
Minato asks his student.

Elizabeth was sitting in the grass, at the training grounds. She was calmy meditating when she hearr footsteps nearing her presence. She got up from her sitting position and saw a main with golden straw-like yellow hair. She saw he was smiling at her..strange.. Elizabeth thought.
"Hello there, I am Minato Namikaze, and I will be teaching you Kenjutsu. What can you tell me about it? Have you ever held a sword before, if so, how did it feel? Do you think you would do well with a sword?" Minato asked.
Elizabeth looked at the young sensei, sizing him up. She was satisfied, and impressed at achieving a title so soon.
"Hello Namikaze-san, My name is Lisa, but call me Elizabeth." she replied, bowing while doing so.
She continued,
"To be honest, I've never held a sword before. But, I do find the sword to become like a sheild for me...sort of like this scarf I have on. Oh and to answer your question Kenjutsu is the techniques that involve the usage of swords in combat, you can also combine them with chakra to create more deadly attacks."

Minato listened to Elizabeth's answer, which was simple in nature but good enough. Kenjutsu wasn't a very complex field, and didn't need a lot of theoretical explanations, it was very practical. As such, they continued.
"Alright, I see. Well, in this training session, you will learn how to wield a sword and perform techniques. After this, you might even start using Kenjutsu in fights. Now, my method of teaching is simple. I will explain a technique, and I want you to perform the technique for me, give me at least two advantages and disadvantages, and also how you would use the technique in battle. If you have questions, be sure to ask.
Now, let us begin! The first technique, is simple. WAIT!"

Elizabeth watches as Minato unsheaths his own sword, soon after throwing it in the air. Elizabeth quickly catches it in her hands.
Minato continues,
"You have a sword now. Anyway, where was I? Oh, the first technique. You will dash towards the opponent with your sword in hand, and once you are close enough, you will perform a sequence of slashes which can be aimed anywhere of the opponent. These are done one after the other. The technique will then finish off with a powerful final slash that deals liberal damage. Use it against my clone."
Elizabeth looks back at Minato and watches as he creates a clone that's running toward her.
Elizabeth looks at the blond's clone charging to her, she grips the sword near her left hip. She takes off forward toward the clone once barely feet away from the clone she raises up her sword.
The clone now in her face doesn't get to respond before Elizabeth unleashes vertical slashes across the clones body. She continues to slash on the clones, until she put forth her weight and slashes diagonally on the clone. The blond clone poofs; leaving nothing of its presence behind.
Elizabeth looks back at her sensei and says, "Minato, did I peform this correctly? And, do you want me to list advantages and disadvantages?"

Minato smiles as he waits for Elizabeth to continue. Interesting girl, she was.

Minato says to Elizabeth, Elizabeth smiles flattered by her sensei's praise. She replies,
"One advantage is multiple barrage of slashes rindering your opponent unable to counter. Another plus is the close range, since if sliced in a vital organ you could kill your opponent. A disadvantage is the time it takes to congure the final blow, the deadly blow. Also, if the enemie isn't just caught off guard and is on the defensive; they can block your attacks and from charging at your opponent they can predict the way you'll attack at them."

Kenjutsu Style: The Way of the Sword
"Awesome, here you go."

Elizabeth smiles, and watches as her yellow-haired sensei makes a shadow clone; which was now sprinting towards her. Elizabeth looked at the clone and in response started charging and screamed, "HYAAA!"
Elizabeth gripped the sword in her left hand, and put her right hand in a balled fist. Elizabeth now within meters in the closest range, swung her right fist directly in contact with clones jaw. Elizabeth noticed the clone was caught off guard, this gave the chance to whip around punch the clone in the gut. Just when the clone looked like was at it's limit she released her fist and put both hands on the handle of the sword. Elizabeth slashed vertically on the clones chest; and on its face. The poor clone poofed, and Elizabeth smiled gleefully.
Elizabeth walked away from the massacre, in which she slaughtered the clone; and went back to Minato.
She placed her sword in a hole inside her scarf, which was wrapped around her waist. "Minato, I think I got." Elizabeth said.
"This is an intresting technique, a plus to this is the fact you get to trip your opponent first. Doing so gets them off the offensive; since initially this clone was trying to attack me. And, puts them on the more defensive end, to block the attacks; a little taijutsu combat. Another plus, is the two slashes you deal are lethal, its not drawn out, a quick kill." Elizabeth added, "the only downside to this I csn think of is the punching part; the clone could easily defend against these since you will be holding a sword to deal the blows. So it puts you at a disadvantage; holding the sword and punching the opponent."

Once you get close to the opponent, you will spin your body around, either clockwise or counter-clockwise, with your sword extended. This allows you to strike the opponent multiple times, as you spin. This is best used against a group of opponents, like clones and such. However, this exposes your back. Use it against my group of clones!!"
Minato creates several clones that runs towards Elizabeth.
