The secret is that you start molding the chakra of the jutsu in the momment it touches your arms and you are using that chakra to power your own lightning jutsu.You know the principle how you mold lightning chakra so it should be easy.

As I see you release a wave of lightning, i extend my hand and start to mold lightning chakra. Than using the lightning that you fired, i "suck it up" and use it to power my own lightning that i release back.
