Good, this will go quicker then. ^_^

Analyze the technique below for me. What does it do? How does it work? What are it's pros and cons etc.

(Genjutsu: Kawarimi ) Illusion Technique: Substitution
Type: Defensive
Rank: D-B Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10-20
Damage: N/A
Description:
A simple technique, this genjutsu works solely as a defensive measure. The user will produce an illusionary copy of himself while he escapes the path/area of the attack with a rapid movement, unnoticed and masked by the technique. The enemy will see and hear the user in the original place until the attack connects with the illusionary copy, at which point it will disperse, revealing the true location of the user. The technique can be controlled so as to have the illusionary copy interact and talk in specific ways with the enemy for other purposes, while the user remains hidden from the targets perception. The illusion is often personalized from user to user, namely in its dispersion, sometimes in relation to the users elemental affinity or summoning companions, following a theme unique to him. The limitation is that the user cannot escape large techniques with this ability nor incredibly fast ones, since the escape is his movement and, as such, is limited to small scaled attacks or normal paced ones. Only techniques which can be escaped by moving out of their way running or through movement can be defended from with this. The main limit however, is that, since its a sustainable illusion, triggering any offensive action towards the target will immediately release the illusion, be it a simple taijutsu move or a ninjutsu attack; any aggressive action the user wants to take will immediately break his focus and control over the technique, releasing the target from it. The stronger the user is with the usage of Genjutsu, the more effective and strong the illusion will be and more times can it be used.
Note: This version can only be used by ninjas without a Sharingan.
Note: Genjutsu users can use the technique thrice per match, D-Rank; Secondary Genjutsu Specialists can use the technique four times per match, C-Rank; Primary Genjutsu Specialists can use the technique five times per match; B-Rank.
Note: Movement speed is bound by the users rank.

This is an interesting jutsu, considering it being a defensive Genjutsu. I think that this is best to be used when fighting in mid range to defend against against a projectile-like attack and to move to the side and make a quick counter-attack at the opponent while they are peforming their next jutsu. It has a lot of disadvantages, though. The user cannot use it to escape large scale jutsus since they would get affected by it just as much as the clone "does." I don't see this to be very effective in short range, against Taijutsu either, especially when dealing with a fast opponent. If they were to attack the "clone", they would immediately realize that it's a Genjutsu because they would not be able feel touching it. Also, when the user tries any move on their opponent and stops concentrating on maintaining the clone, the illusion falls through and their position is revealed. This leaves very little time to prepare and lunch the next attack, and more than enough time for the opponent to notice the real one and defend on time. In conclusion, I see this not serving its purpose more times than it actually does.

If your opponent uses this technique against you, how would you try to figure out it's a gen? Also keep in mind that this genjutsu only messes with ones sight. All their other senses will remain on tact.

I would immediately know when I touch the "clone" when fighting in short range (using Taijutsu) and I wouldn't feel it and would have enough time to react since hand-to-hand moves are fast. I could as well hear the opponent making steps farther from the illusion of it and thus know it's not the real him/her.

Make sure to take advantage of your terrain also. For example, if you are fighting on a sunny terrain then you can definitely pick up that the clone doesn't have a shadow. Or, if you're on a grassy field then the grass would be stomped upon, which wouldn't be the case if it's a gen. Try to pick up the slightest errors in your opponents description. The lesser he/she explains what happens when the genjutsu gets casted upon you the easier it'll be for you to find ways to get out of it.

Alright, post me the first C-ranked genjutsu from the genjutsu list.

Ok, got it! Next is:

( Genjutsu: Kai ) - Illusion Technique: Release
Rank: C-S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15-40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

( Genjutsu: Hanaoka ) - Illusion Technique: Flower Hill
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user summons up illusionary purple flowers from the ground in front of them, damaging enemies with a chance to paralyze them.
Note: Paralysis lasts one turn.

Try to get out using Kai. ^_^

Since this is a paralysis genjutsu, Kai cannot be used to get out. The user cannot perform a hand seal which is a
requirement for them to be able to concentrate, unbalance their chakra and release themselves with that technique. I cannot directly hurt myself to escape it but I could use an Earth jutsu, for example, to create pillars that would pierce through me to make me feel pain. However, since this is only a B-rank jutsu, I don't have to go that far and risk getting too hurt to fight. This leaves the third option, and that is using a powerful elemental jutsu (A-rank in this case) where a large ammount of chakra is released from my body, and doesn't require any hand seals. This could be, e.g. Chidori Nagashi, Earth jutsus that create a coat of earth, or Wind ones which make distrubances in air around your body. I could use a raw chakra jutsu, as well, but it would have to be two ranks higher, which is already S rank (not really practical).

The good this is, that I could easily figure out that this one is a Genjutsu, since I get paralysed by purple flowers, which don't even cast a shadow. Poison or nerve damage, for example, would not be my first guesses. Also the jutsu I use to dispel the Genjutsu can be prolonged into an attack/defense against your opponent, which is great.

Impressive, very impressive. Nice job. Seems you understand it very well.

I have a very impressive counter also, if you'd like to know for future reference. Try to use technique's that have multiple targets. For example, the B-Ranked water whip technique. You can both attack and hurt yourself with the technique since it releases multiple sharp whips that can attack both your foe and cut you deep enough to get out of certain genjutsu. But keep in mind that the major key for you is to explain extremely well HOW you figure out that you're in a gen. Then, you can have a valid reason to hurt yourself and get out. Many RP'ers have failed a test or lost in a battle because their way of getting out was correct, but their reasons for doing so wasn't valid or logical enough.

( Kori Shinchū no Jutsu ) - Sly Mind Affect Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.

Analyze. And tell me how you would escape from this gen.

Now, this was a nice technique when it was used in Naruto because they were moving on a large scale and thought they had been walking straight for hours which exhausted them. In our RP, the jutsu works only up to mid range, which means that the target this was cast on, won't be making a large circle and should quickly discover the pattern of their movements and that they are going in a circle, since this doesn't change the environment. The opponent is also up to 15 meters from them, and they clearly see it and should figure out that they are taking too long to get there. In conclusion, the effects of this jutsu are very short before your target realises they'd been tricked, so nobody will get tired. Furthermore, when the user of this tries to attack the target, the target will notice that the attack is coming from a strange angle and thus know it's a Genjutsu. Also, this only works on a moving target, and how often do we have someone just rush at someone like that? This jutsu would be more useful if combined with a Genjutsu that changes the surrounding.

I've described the ways of discovering it is a Genjutsu, and then escaping should be no problem. Kai of corse, or some jutsu with a large surge of chakra.

It's a nice technique indeed. Very useful if you opponent rushes towards you to attack you. Use this genjutsu to distract them while killing them off from below or behind with a technique that requires a little to no handseals and is quick in creating. You have a good understanding in genjutsu, so let's speed this training up a little. I'll now teach you two/three technique's simultaneously.

( Genjutsu: Jinmon ) - Illusion Technique: Interrogation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with physical contact with them, is able to convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.

( Genjutsu: Jigoku Gouka ) - Illusion Technique: Hell Fire
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion where the opponent sees a huge ball of fire descending from the sky and enveloping its target.

What are these technique's purposes? How would you figure out that it's a gen, how would you use this in battle and how would you escape if you got trapped in any of the above?

These two are not really the greatest Genjutsus. The first one has a lot of flaws and is not particularly useful in battles (maybe it would be more useful in Ninja World but I doubt it). You have to make a physical contact with a stationary target, and catching your target still is really hard to achieve. The target will easily notice that they are telling what they would not want to tell and thus realize it's a Genjutsu. And then, for breaking this Genjutsu, I would definitely use a technique with a large surge of chakra, peferably Lightning, instead of Kai. That is because I have a direct physical connection with the user which makes them very vulnerable to my attacks, especially electrifying. Also, this works only on ninjas which are two ranks lower than you, which is a really rare situation. A bad jutsu for our RP, nonetheless.

The second one is also meh. It is again extremely easy to figure out it's a Genjutsu. The jutsu only affects the target's vision, and that is only seeing a huge fireball. However, the target does not feel the heat from it, nor sees a properly large shadow on the ground, nor sees the changes in the sky that should come with it. I would most probably not use this jutsu in a battle, since it would not fool anybody and would only spend my time and energy. How I escape the Genjutsu would then depend on the situation, whether it would be more convenient for me to use Kai, or a jutsu with a large surge of chakra through my body.

Exactly.

( Genjutsu: Kasumi no Jutsu ) - Illusion Technique: Mist Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy, jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals which results in confusing the opponent and obscuring their vision, leaving them open for attack.

( Kasunda Genjutsu ) - Illusionary Arts: Hazy Illusion
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: This is a simple and not to difficult to discern genjutsu. The user places the target in an illusion where they see the world around them heavily distorted, preventing the target from discerning his surroundings while within the illusion. The technique also gives the impression of the target sinking in quicksand and thus acts as a means to immobilize them slowly.

The first Genjutsu is not all that bad, due to the speed, especially if the opponent is a bit closer to you. It is very easy to figure out it's a genjutsu, since again, this only makes you see the clone turn into petals, but you don't hear the sound of those petals surrounding you, nor you see their shadow. Also, the problem is that the target probably wouldn't let the clone get as close to them and would send an attack towards it (and the user simultaneously) while it is still running. And the when happens to the clone, they would already know that somehting is wrong and that it's most likely a Genjutsu. However, if the target is close, they don't have much time to react and get out of Genjutsu since the user could be right behind the clone's back waiting to attack when the petals even slightly blind them. That's why Kai would not be the best solution in this situation, because it would tak too much time. Direct jutsu with a large surge of chakra that also goes after the user of Genjutsu should be fine.

And regarding the next jutsu, it is again very easy to see through it because your surrounding starts to get disorted which you know has to be a sign of someone messing with your brain. The fast that the target is sinking into quick sand is cool because they can't move their legs in the next few moments, but it would not get to a drastic point of them not being able to use their hands. The good thing for the user is, that because the surrounding starts to get disorted, the target does not seen them anymore, which means that they can freely move. However, they should not make sudden movements because they could still be heard. I would definitely concentrate on my hearing if this Genjutsu was cast on me. Once that I figure out it's a Genjutsu, and I should do that quickly, there should not be a problem of counter-attacking when the surrounding is still not too messed up. If my opponent starts running at me, I would heard them and know where to attack, and if they don't, I still have time utill the attack reaches me.

( Genjutsu: Shibari ) - Illusionary Arts: Binding
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - A
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15 - 30
Damage: N/A
Description: A very simple yet powerful paralysis genjutsu. The user will cast an illusion which sole purpose is to restrict and paralyze he target. The technique can be cast on more than one opponent at a time, though with the cost of power. The stronger the user is in genjutsu determines how strong their technique is. Non-genjutsu specialists can only cast only use the C-ranked version of this technique and use it on up to two others making the hold D-rank for each individual person. Users with genjutsu as their secondary specialty can use the B-ranked version of this technique and cast the jutsu on a maximum of three people. Users with genjutsu as their primary specialty can use the A-ranked version of this technique and cast the technique on a maximum of three people. Members who specialize in genjutsu are immune to this technique being placed upon them on others with a lower skill level than them; i.e a users with a secondary specialty can't use this on a primary specialist, only those of equivalent rank or lower can be caught with this technique.

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

If you have any questions regarding any technique than make sure to ask.

Analyze, how would you use them during a battle?

I really like the first thing. It's a basic paralysis Genjutsu which works only in short range, but that's perfectly fine because I think that the purpose of this is to stop the opponent in a split of a second and thus create an oppening to quickly strike them. This wouldn't be useful as much if the target would be very far away from you, anyway, because they would have enough time to be free themselves. I would definitely use this while fighting hand-to-hand with my opponent, using Taijutsu, and then I would paralyze them too make them vulnerable for my next attack. As for the defense, I would perhaps use a Lightning jutsu, because when my opponent would get really close to me, or would even make contact, they would be really exposed to such jutsus. The fact that it doesn't require any hand seals, relly helps to make use of this Genjutsu extra swift.

The second one is also great, excellent for tactial and sneaky attacks. I would make the first layer obvious, and very different from the real terrain in which we are fighting. The second layer would be exactly the same as the terrain was before I started changing the surrounding, and that would be great for setting traps and hiding some of the jutsus which perhaps require more time to prepare or simply to catch my target unprepared. Now, that would make really it difficult for them to realize they are still under my Genjutsu. However, I still change only the visual aspect, so I need to be really careful with the sounds that the jutsu I would use to attack makes. That would be the downfall of this Genjutsu, and would probably try to use that in my favor if someone put me under this Genjutsu.

Sorry for the delay, had... other priorities. (NW, lol sorry)

( Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi ) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

( Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku ) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and trigger an illusion where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground around and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

( Magen: Hanarasui ) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

Analyze them for me please.

Now sorry for the delay on my part. :lol I'm having some busy weeks (or months).

I like the first Genjutsu, primarily because it can be used very well while fighting in close combat, or running towards your opponent to get into short range. You will, of course, need a sword to perform this jutsu, and some/most of fighter to not used one. However, if you do fight using Kenjutsu, this will be very useful. What makes this jutsu useful is that it can be peformed very fast, it doesn't require any hand seals, and can be done in the middle of fighting. The user just needs to make a few "pointless" waves with their sword and cast it. And when your opponent is under your Genjutsu, you have a great opening for your next attack. The speed is that which makes this one usable. However, it's not that hard to realize that it is a Genjutsu. Since in one second, you see a sword going back and forth, and then you see weaving arms which are not even offensive, since they look like they're just flabby. That leaves enough time to react.

The following Genjutsu, I do not particularly like. The ammount of hand seals it requires is a bit too much and is altogether very slow. And the bean vines seem very irrealistic. If this was used against anyone, I would of course at first try to dogde or defend from it before it manages to bind me.I would quickly see that they are not real as I am not able to defeat them with normal Ninjutsu, which would immediatly indicate that it's a Genjutsu. So, the target has a lot of time, from the moment that the user of this disappears, until they get actually binded with the bean vines and with that paralized, to realize they're under Genjutsu. Even if they don't realize it by then, the user emerging from the ground and from a bean pod is very messy and leaves space to find the flaws in description, such as shadows and sounds.

The last one is one of the many flower-based Genjutsu. It is very easy to notice that you are under a Genjutsu, since the flower lacks smell and shadow. The target has enough time to realize those missing factors. Also, when they try to defend from the flower, when nothing happens to it, they should realize it's a Genjutsu. Alos, it's always very smart to use jutsus that can be used to break out of Genjutsu (lage surge of chakra) to "defend" from an object that's actually just an illustion and you automatically have a denefse-offense against the Genjutsu itself. This is very similar to the previous jutsu, plant-based, very irrealistic. I'm sure that most of people, like myself, aren't huge fans of those.

Sorry for the delay, had a week off school and work so tried to avoid logging in.

Excellent job, you've seem to have quite a good understanding in Genjutsu. Let's proceed to the next three technique's, try to also make a move with layering one gen upon another, as if you're in a battle about to make an opening move, I'd like to see how you utilize it if you ever decide on using genjutsu during a battle.

( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

( Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire ) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.
