[Fuuton] With Detective L

Jean condenses doton chkara within his gut and spits out the concentrated rock from his mouth. The rock begins to take shape of a clone of himself. The clone is steathily handed three freshly sharpened kunai before jumping up into the air as the real Jean gathers wind chakra in both of his palms before clapping them together. It is around this time that, with haste, the clone throws the kunais downward at Minato's clone as the wind chakra is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale force wind that subsequently causes the blades to accelerate at a much faster pace. The kunai knives pierce through the incoming clone with relative ease. Jean's clone lands on the ground behind the original and slowly melts back into the earth. "Two advantages to this jutsu are that it doesn't require any handseals so that makes it efficiently quick. Adding on to that, because it doesn't require handseals you can up the acceleration before your opponent is able to react. Two disadvantages are that it can be countered easily with higher ranked Katon or Doton jutsu and as I demonstrated the jutsu almost requires a second pair of hands in order to be used efficiently."

After finishing, Jean then reaches into his back pouch and pulls out his hand to reveal two shuriken lying neatly between his index and middle finger. Slowly, the young Nara transfers wind-based chakra into these two shuriken. This chakra is manipulated to cause the shuriken to rise from Jean's fingers before preceding to spin rapidly. With his sensei's clone quickly incoming, the two shuriken dart towards it. The first of them strike the clone directly in its chest causing it to stumble back while the other shuriken strikes it in its forehead resulting in a large cloud if smoke to encompass the area where the clone once stood."Two advantages to this jutsu are how it increases the lethality of weapons that'd normally not do much damage and the fact that you are able to control the weapon after throwing it. A disadvantage however is that despite increasing the deadliness you are still limited to the range of said weapon. Another drawback is that in order to successfully counter, all one needs is a sufficient defense that stops the incoming weapon."

This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

Description: This technique will infuse wind-based chakra into bladed weapons. The user can than manipulate the blades in a spinning manner to attack the target.

"Alright, the next technique is simple. Form the Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake hand seals, and use your Wind based chakra to create a sudden gust. However, the gust varies from one that is capable of blowing down something in your sight, up to a more powerful one that is capable of blowing down a large tree. Use it on my clone."

"After that, use your Wind based chakra and focus it to your mouth. You will then release a sphere of Wind towards the opponent, which is capable of blowing back the opponent with some power, or blow back objects around you. Use it against my clone."

Jean smirks and performs the Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake handseals. Preceding this he releases a sum of his chakra into the air itself, a notion that he his familiar with due to a similar technique he had to perform previously. Next, the Nara clan member uses the chakra to manipulate the air currents and create a sudden gust of wind that blows furiously across the training area and consequently sweeping up Minato's clone in its wake. Jean unsheathes his katana and hastily jumps up into the air in front of the airborne clone. With impressive speed he manages to stab the clone in its gut before bisecting it from the waist up. The clone ultimately disperses into a cloud of smoke as Jean lands.Two advantages to this jutsu are it's versatility and the fact that it can be used in conjunction with a fire style jutsu in order to increase its destructive power. Two drawbacks are how you need to be proficient with Fuuton in order to use said versatility to its fullest extent and how the wind only blows where the user is looking can be exploited by the opponent."

After finishing, Jean watches as his sensei creates another clone that, like the previous one rushes towards him. The young Nara hastily gathers up chakra in his lungs while altering it into Fuuton using nature manipulation. Next, Jean recoils whilst he inhales deeply before the chakra reaches the base of his throat and he exhales it in the form of a sphere of compressed air that strikes the incoming clone, blowing it back against a nearby tree resulting in it poofing away in a cloud of smoke. Jean clears his throat before anwsering the routine questions,"Two advantages to this jutsu are that it requires no handseals and how it is able to blow back enemies and small objects alike." he pauses before continuing "Two disadvantages are its range and how relatively weak it is."

Description: This is a relatively simple technique that when the user performs the following hand seals Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake they create a sudden gust of wind, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.

"Alright, next you will manipulate your Wind based chakra as you form the Ram hand seal. As you do so, you will form several small tornadoes which can cause some harm, but are best used in conjunction with a Fire technique, creating a flaming hurricane. Use it against my clone."

"After that, form the Tiger → Snake → Ram hand seals and manipulate your Wind based chakra. You will then release a powerful vortex of Wind towards the opponent, which would cause some blunt damage. Best used in conjunction with Fire Release: Running Fire and Earth Release: Earth Corridor to release a massive inferno at the opponents while they are trapped within the confined space of the earth, as specified by the technique. Could be used in other combinations for an even better degree of success. use it against my clone."

Jean quickly forms the tiger handseal while gathering Katon in his throat. He spews the fire chakra out onto the ground and manipulates it to create a ring that surrounds the clone. Without wasting anytime he performs the ram handseal whilst releasing chakra into the air. The chakra is altered into wind nature and before long multiple whirling tornadoes form in front of Jean. The vortexes make their way into the circle of fire and are subsequently caught aflame resulting in a flaming hurricane that soudly obilterates the clone, leaving nothing behind not even the grass it stood on."Two advantages are how if mixed with Katon the jutsu becomes more devastating and how since there are more than one tornado it makes the technique that much more difficult to evade. A disadvantage is, that without fire to enhance it the technique can't really do much. Another disadvantage is the size of the tornadoes. Them being so small can make them easier to defend against."


Next, Jean quickly performs the snake handseal and violently slams both of his fists into the ground below him simultaneously channeling chakra into it. He uses his chakra to manipulate the terrain around the incoming clone. The earth around it begins to ascend from the ground and create a very cavern-like structure that imprisons his Sensei's clone leaving only a small opening on to. Jean quickly jumps above the hole in the structure as he gathers up fire chakra in his lungs as he forms the tiger handseal. The fire chakra is subsequently launched into the small opening and like the previous instance made to create a ring of fire that further traps the clone. Finally, he forms the Tiger → Snake → Ram hand seals before focusing a large amount of chakra to his hands. The chakra is expelled in the form of a powerful vortex of wind that ignites the flames further whilst the closing at the top of the cavern disappears. Jean then lands behind the corridor and looks to his sensei."Two advantages are how it can be used in combination with a lot of different jutsu like how I just demonstrated." He says looking back at his work triumphantly "...and how since the jutsu also deals blunt damage it can be used to disrupt an incoming attack. Two disadvantages are how like Divine Wind, the jutsu isn't of much use by itself and how...I can't really think of a second drawback to this one. Can you help me out?"

"Great job, Jean. The technique is merely a C rank and isn't very fast, that makes it quite weak and easy to counter. Here you go."

"Alright, the next technique is one that can be very useful when fighting against another Wind user. Through manipulation of your Wind based chakra, you will release a slicing Wind gust towards an incoming Wind technique. This wind gust, is capable of dividing and neutralizing it, making it harmless ( C rank and below, and up to B rank if your bio has Wind specialty). Use it against this!"

"After that, form the Tiger → Hare → Dragon hand seals and manipulate your Wind based chakra, to create a cyclone of sharp winds and petals which attacks the opponent. A nice technique, and simple to do too. Use it against my clone."

Jean catches the scrolls and just as quickly throws them back into the ever growing pile of his previously learned techniques. Immediately following this he is almost taken off guard by the incoming attack so with haste, he begins to gather chakra in his right hand. This chakra is altered into the fluid but sharply fierce nature of wind whilst it is moved from the hand to the tips of the fingertips of the young Nara clan member. With a swift motion just as the blast of wind draws near to Jean, he swipes his arm diagonally downwards releasing all of the stored up wind based chakra in the form of a slicing gust that wedges through his sensei's earlier attack, dissipating it completely. Jean returns to his previous reserved stance as he begins to talk,"An advantage to this jutsu is that it doesn't require much preparation to utilize so, it works rather well when backed into a corner. Another advantage is that it is able to neutralize all techniques up to C-Rank giving it a moderately vast amount of jutsu that it can defend against, this however leads me to the disadvantages. One is that in order to maximize the potential of this jutsu the user has to have mastery over Wind and how this jutsu only works on wind based jutsu so that causes its usability to dwindle."

After finishing his sentence and Minato creates another clone of himself, Jean swiftly performs the appropriated Tiger → Hare → Dragon handseals before releasing a sufficient amount of stored up chakra into the air around him. The chakra is then altered into Fuuton using nature manipulation whilst it is also transformed into the shape of flower petals. The petals and wind are then viciously spun into a vortex that crashes into the clone, turning it into a cloud of smoke."Two advantages to this jutsu are its speed and how if mixed with a Katon technique this jutsu can become more dangerous. A disadvantage is how the size of the petals make it difficult to deal much damage which I think I found the remedy for as I said previously. Another disadvantage is how if the opponent exceeds mid range, the technique is unusable." Jean says, confident in his answers.

"Next is a quite generic Wind technique. By the swinging of your hand, or hands, and through manipulation of your Wind based chakra, you will release a wave of Wind forwards. This wave of Wind is capable of slashing the opponent, dealing basic cut like damage. Use it against my clone."

"After that, a technique that requires the use of a sword. With your sword in your dominant hand, you will manipulate your Wind based chakra and channel it into your sword. As you swing your sword forwards, you will create a powerful whirlwind of sharp winds. The technique requires good timing, between the swing and the release of the Wind technique. Use it on my clone."
