Nikodo calms down first and tries to think of how this technique could be used in battle. He continues wiping his blood and starts talking.

I would use this technique more in defensive manners then in offensise. I would use this jutsu mostly when people attacks me with Ninja tools, to protect myself from them. This jutsu can even be useful against light fire jutsu, since earth is quite resistant. And not forgeting water jutsu, earth is a great counter for water attacks since it is his natural ability.

Even thought I will use this jutsu mostly defensively, doesn't mean that this jutsu can be a great offensive way. One of them is using the earth pillar under an opponent who is using a jutsu, you can cacnel the jutsu, since it ruins his concentration. He even looses his balance which makes vunerable to a number of attacks.

For defensinve against this technique, I would mostly use Raiton. If a Earth pillar is rising me up from down, I focus Raiton chakra on my feet which resuslts into the earth shattering. It is the natural ability of lightning to shatter apart the earth particles and render them useless. If I see and earth wall, I will use projectile Lightning jutsu to destroy the shield.

This Jutsu seems OK, I gotta say it is pretty basic though, and the counters against it are countless.

Description: This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.


This is similar to the first technique you learned. You send your earth chakra into the earth to then manipulate the earth into the desired shape. This one specifically allows you to turn a small chuck of rock and make it thinner and longer to form a staff. The staff can be used for physical attacks or it can be used as a projectile and thrown as if it was a javelin. Or you can use it to make your opponent guard against a wide area by making several staffs and launching them all at the opponent. The first method is more of a direct attack and the second method is a distraction meant to be followed up with a surprise attack. To defend against the first method, a simple lightning technique or fire/wind blast with physical power would work. Second method a larger fire/wind blast would work, but a earth wall would work as well.

Description: The user will concentrate their chakra into their arm and then release their chakra creating a ring of rocks that are then flung at the opponent.



To break it down, this technique is just throwing rocks. You focus your earth chakra in your arm and then release small amounts of it and materialize the earth into small chunks of earth. You create several rocks and momentarily create a ring around your arm, then fling all the rocks at your opponent. Offensively, I find it useless. You better off using kunai or shuriken. Defensively, the opponent is throwing rocks, I think you can figure this out yourself and tell me how to defend.

For the Second jutsu Nikodo calmed himself down. He started concentrating the same chakra as before since it was nearly the same principle. Nikodo kneeled down and touched the ground with his right hand. He started feeling the Earth chakra deep inside the ground and when he was sure he was one with it, he started lifting with his hand rock material. It was fairly easy to carry. Now Nikodo gave that larghe chunk of rock a manipulation. He started reshaping it in a cilinder form. The cilinder was densing up as Nikodo made the radius smaller and smaller till a normal staff was formed. Nikodo then started trying something else. he came forward to the dummy and
kneeled down. He touched the ground once again. He kept feeling the earth chakar like before, but this time instead of creating only one staff he lifts a big chunk of earth and creates multiple one who fly towards the dummy and hit it in various places. The dummy was pierced in different parts even though Nikodo tried to hit only the head. This jutsu does really have a difficulty to aim with it.

I would use this jutsu in battles only when I need a strong weapon and attack him quickly. Since earth is all around I can create multiple staffs and use them for battle. The multiple staff variant is effective as well, It sometimes is negative not to be able to aim properly, but when you have multiple opponents it can be usefull since not everyone might be able to dodge all of them.

For offensive manners I will create the staff and use it to hit somebody like a bat, or even through it and allow it to go right through him creating a deep wound. I would even use the multiple staff variant offensively when I am hiding and the enemy still didn't detect me, I would hit him in the back and he would be dead directly.

I would protect myself from the technique with earth walls which are at a higher level or strength then the staffs. Or I would even use Raiton against them since they would just break appart and be rendered useless.

This jutsu is quite interesting if you ask me. The number of posibilities is endless and the way you can dodge against them is endless too. Which makes it a good think when you are being attacked by the jutsu, and a bad thing if you are the one that will use that jutsu offensively.

For the second jutsu Nikodo started concentrating his chakra in the right arm. He started adding chakra one bit after the other, why densing it up his right arm. He continued doing that till he thought it was enough. At that time he started adding the nature transformation to it. The rock started forming on his right hand and up his arm. Nikodo did a quick spin and he formed a ring of rock all around him. The ring was made out of stones and they were headed quickly towars the dummy, where it was hit in various points.

I will use this technique against users that are in front of me and flug rock towards them with hope getting them unconscious. And then finish them of with an even stronger jutsu. I will use this jutsu even against many opponents since it would give you some time .

This jutsu can be denfended by mostly earth walls of the same caliber or higher. I would even cancel out this jutsu with the same one, to stop the stones midway. Another way how to dodge it are lightning walls or impulses which will make the earth shatter.

This jutsu is not that interesting, it is pretty straight forward and it is a nice jutsu as a decoy mostly.

Description: After performing the Rat hand seal, the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent.


This is a more advanced technique than the ones that you just performed. This one requires you to perform the Rat hand seal. Hand seals are used to precisely channel chakra in the required amounts to manipulate the elements the way you desire. This technique is very simple. By sending your own earth chakra into the ground beneath your opponent you can cause the earth on both sides of them to form two large sections of rock to move around and crush the opponent in the middle. The technique can be used offensively to cause the opponent to defend their sides while you attack from the front or back. It is mostly used to widen the array of your attack and cause you opponent to defend more. To defend you can just smash one side of the sections using lightning or other earth and escape.

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.


This is like one of the previous techniques except a bit more advanced.

"Now unlike that technique, this technique involves focusing the earth chakra in your body not into the earth. Focus your chakra into the outside of your entire body and especially focus on your arms and legs. Then use the earth chakra in your arms and legs to dig into the earth while simultaneously using the earth chakra to move the earth around you. Burrow under ground beneath your opponent and move the earth beneath their feet so that when you drag them down they are dragged into the earth an stuck. This is good offensively to attack your opponent when they do not know your location or when you have a clone do this and the opponent is unaware of the clone. To defend if you see your opponent use it, send lightning into the ground, if you don't, as soon as they grab you respond by using a lightning tech to attack."

Read this again as the concept is essentially the same and doesn't garner another write-up. Key thing to keep in mind is that you do not merge with the earth, you dig through it. So spikes underground can still stab you and you can still get crushed.

1.Nikodo focused on the first jutsu. After he heard his Sensei explaining everything he closed his eyes and made the Rat handseal. Nikodo then slowly got down and touched the ground. He was using his chakra and started transferring it to the rocks and chunks of earth around the dummy. Nikodo kept on focusing on it and started moving the earth slowly but the chunks were all oriented in 2 ponts on the sides of the dummy. Nikodo kept connecting the rocks till 2 walls were shaped around the dummy. Nikodo got p and extended his right arm to the boulder on the left side of the dummy. And the left hand at the boulder in the right side of the dummy. Nikodo then brought the hands together with a high speed which followed the the boulders connecting and squishing the dummy.

How you will use the technique offensively

For offensive manners I would use this jutsu just like in this form. I would create 2 boulders and squish the enemy. I might use the jutsu as a distraction as well, while he will be worrying about the rocks I will make a direct attack and finish him off. I would even use this jutsu without the knowledge of the enemy to make a deadly silent kill, without the enemy ever noticing what happened.

How you can defend against the tech

I would mostly use the same jutsu to cancel this one out, I would use the earth itself as a counter to stop each boulder. I would even use Raiton chakra and engulf my body with it so that he enemy will think I am dead but I would be fine since the earth that will be touched by me will me shattered apart. Yet another way are paper bombs.

This technique isn't all bad, It has a variety of ways how it can be used and both in offensive and defensive ways. I Think this jutsu is pretty basic though and the high number of counters against it makes it not that effective.

2.For the second jutsu, Nikodo listened to the description once again and started focusing his chakra in his feet and arm. The Doton chakra was able to influence earh a lot and the digging was quite quick and without any trouble. Nikodo continued digging till without realising he had moved quite the amount of earth. He continued doing it will the was below the clone of his sensei. Nikodo the used the chakra once again and lifted out hands grabbing in the legs of the clone. Nikodo Influenced the earth and pulled the clone down with all his power rendering the clone motionless. Nikodo then stabbed the clone with a Kunai and dispersed it. When he got out he started mentioning the description.

How you will use the technique offensively

I will use this jutsu mostly on stealth measurements, And hide among the earth and kill someone quickly and silently. I would even use it to dodge very strong fire justsu. I will be hiding as deep as possible and render the jutsu useless.
Another way is to set up mines as traps. They are not easily detectable and it is very useful as well.

How you can defend against the tech

For defending against this Jutsu I will mostly use Raiton Jutsu. The lightning can shatter apart the earth and no matter where I would be trapped I would be able to get out. Another way to defend is this tech itself, If I was ever pulled down by someone I would use the same jutsu get out and crate a strong counter.

This jutsu is very good for assassins since you can kill someone without anyone noticing. You can even use it to dodge. I mostly like the variety that this jutsu has. It gives me the chance to be more free and creative.

Description: This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target.


This jutsu uses your earth chakra to manipulate existing earth. The user will send their earth energy into the ground and move it beneath their opponent. The user will then merge his own energy with the energy in the existing earth beneath the opponent. The user will then call their energy to rise from the ground while sharpening it. Since the energy has now become one with the earth, this will cause the earth to rise up with the user's energy. The earth is sharp enough to pierced flesh. This technique is used mostly as a pure distraction technique. It has not other true offensive uses. A fighter would use this to create spikes under his opponent to make him cheaply respond to give time for the fighter to follow up with another attack. I personally find it somewhat cheap to just start out with this technique first turn, but in certain situations, if can give you the upper hand. To guard, either use a lightning techniques to make the pillars crumble, or if your bio has the speed and reflexes for it, use a technique that strengthens your feet and smash the pillars with kicks as they rise. The latter is mostly for finesse points.

Description: The user will concentrate and release their chakra into the ground to create a small tremer that can result in harming the enemy target.


The user sends their chakra into the ground and then wildly manipulates it underground. This will be enough to cause a small tremor in the earth enough, not strong enough to make your fall, but strong enough to make your lose your balance. Though it reads offensive this is more of a supplementary technique. Mostly it is used to occupy the opponent to give time for the user to use another technique. By itself, it is not very strong. To defend against it, I would first channel chakra to my feet to stick to the ground as it shakes. This will prevent me from losing balance. Then I would take to the air to perform an aerial attack rendering the tremors useless. Or use a lightning jutsu that travels through the earth to cancel out the earth chakra while also attacking your opponent.

Nikodo calms down yet once again and heard the Sensei's description. Nikodo after hearing how the jutsu should be performed he touched the ground with both his hands. Nikodo started flowing his chakra inside the earth while his eyes were closed. Nikodo was flowing his chakra inside the ground and started to creating small chunks of earth which were located in the ground. The chunks had a cubical shape but Nikodo wasn't done with just that. He continued flowing more chakra in there and the earth parts started lifting high up. Nikodo lifted 3 of these columns up and they went to quite a size of 3-4 M.

How I will use the technique offensively

I will use this jutsu to push other people with a quick and strong attack which might be strong enough to break bones and cause quite the severe internal damages. I will even use it to boost myself up if the enemy is higher then me in order to give a quick and finishing blow.


How I can defend against the tech

Like you said, possible ways to deffend against this Tech are Lightning jutsu, which I am gonna need a master for soon. The lightning can shatter the earth appart and make it useless. Another way is if the user is very adapt with Taijutsu or a custom fighting style which could actually help a lot.

This technique is rather basic, I find the numbers of ways you can use it rather interesting on the other hand. The earth columns. You can use them when you need the height, like when a cat is up the tree, or even to dodge different projectile without leaving openings ect...

For the second jutsu, Nikodo kneeled and touched the ground. He started focusing his chakra deep inside the tectonic plate they were standing on but kept the area limited for various of reasons, the main one being that he didn't have enough chakra to move a whole plate by himself. Nikodo started flowing chakra deep inside the plate and forced the earth around him to move. He started with low subtle movements but they after concentrating them further, they became big and started to affect the standing of both his Sensei and himself.

How I will use the technique offensively

---

Like you said, I will sue this jutsu to ruin the balance of one maybe multiple enemies and use an attack ont hem that might be deadly and quick. Another way is to wait for them to be concentrating on a jutsu, and ruin the concentration making the jutsu fail.

How I can defend against the tech

I guess, I would use the same principle, I would counter balance the shaking with my own to make it totally disappear.
Another way might be forcing raiton chakra and making the earth jutsu nto have the desired affect. Yet another way is moving out of the range of shaking...

Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

I find this skill very useful since I will be able to ruin the concentration of someone saving me from a deadly jutsu they might use, and yet another way, is to attack them the moment they are not balanced leaving them open for a number of finishing moves.

Description: The user spits a thick globule of mud at the target. If aimed correctly, it can blind the target's vision and choke them. It can also be used to create a sticky patch on the ground.


This jutsu is a little different than other earth jutsu. It doesn't require any hand seals, and also does not harden the earth chakra completely to give it a solid appearance. This earth jutsu involves focusing earth chakra in your stomach and moving it up to your mouth while making the earth chakra softer. The end result will be that instead of a solid sphere of earth, you will release a glob of mud at your opponent. This is useful offensively as unlike other earth techniques that are solid, this one has more malleability and can used to stick to targets instead of just striking them. The technique is useful in close range as you can suddenly spit out the glob of mud at one of your opponents body parts without the use of hand seals to create an opponent for your to strike. It can also be used in conjunction with fire jutsu since the its mud like properties allow it to be heated up much faster. Guarding against this can be similar to any other blast technique like a fire ball or wind blast. Creating a wall of earth to stop the glob is simple, or overpowering it with a lightning blast to cause the mud to harden and crumble also works.

Descripton: This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock. This can be especially useful if in a cave or a stone lodging. The technique can loosen the rocks and cause them to come raining down on whomever is trapped inside.


This jutsu is only useful in a cave or near a cliff. It has not real offensive uses or defensive uses. It works by using earth chakra to weaken existing rocks to cause them all fall down on top of the opponent. The user doesn't exactly have precise control over the where the rocks fall just the general area since the user only loosens the rocks. Since it doesn't require hand seals it is a good jutsu to use as distraction. To possibly follow up with an earth technique from below. To defend against it, you can use a tech that allows you to skillfully avoid the rocks, blast to the rocks, or one that shields you from the rocks.

1. Nikodo got ready to use the first jutsu. He started concentrating his chakra inside the stomach densing everything up. The Doton chakra was hard, and dense. So Nikodo did what his Sensei requested and started lighting the chakra as he was transferring it to his mouth. As Nikodo was transferring it he got nearly all the chakra together, he started releasing the chakra out and it was taking the from of the mud. The way how it got out was quite sticky. This nature of the earth chakra wasn't unkonw to him since it was used against him many times.

How I will use the technique offensively

---

I will use this technique mostly when an enemy is running so that the attack can land on his back directly. I will even use this jutsu in combination with the fire jutsu, Katon: Karyūdan, to make a deadly fire, Mud bullet, since the mud can catch on fire easily.

How I can defend against the tech

---

To defend against this jutsu the best thing is to use a projectile Raiton jutsu to rumble the mud and render it useless. Another good counter might be very strong Katon jutsu that will try the mud and stop it's momentum just creating a bunch of rock.


Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

This jutsu is quite important in my case cause it is the first mud variation of Earth. But in most cases and in the overall view of it, it is pretty straight forward. The attack ban be done in various forms and be used very efficiently in many cases. A smart shinobi will find a lot of use due to the many possibilities it has, like sticking, fire mud ect...

2. For the next jutsu Nikodo and his sensei went ahead to a small cave nearby, first making sure no one was there and Nikodo kneeled and touched the ground with both hands. Nikodo started channeling his chakra in the ground and gradually weakening the chakra. He was weakening the connector pieced of huge chunks of rock and when the rock was weakened enough it started falling down. Nikodo payed most attention to the stalactites, since they were really sharp and would kill someone very easily. So their made their way back while Nikodo was talking about his thoughts to the jutsu itself.

How I will use the technique offensively

I will use this jutsu wen I am fighting in a cave mostly. I can't see how this jutsu might be useful somewhere else except also weakening the earth down the opponent and trap him, but still the ground won't fall down itself. So only when I am in a cage to fall huge chunks of rock on the enemies.

How I can defend against the tech

To defend against this tech, I don't think you will be alive despite the lightning you use. The only way you can be saved is with earth itself. You can of course use earth pillars, or entire earth walls to catch the falling pieces of rock, which might be most useful to you. But I also had a question, can you weaken the earth structure of someone elses earth jutsu?

The use and the trick of the overall jutsu is straight forward, it is pretty basic earth training, it will be proven very useful against enemies only in caves and the next time you will fight in a cave are rare,so you might use this mostly as a trap card...

Description: After forming the needed hand seal Tiger, the user transforms the ground underneath their opponent into a river of mud that throws them off balance and away from the user. The mud created by this technique can also be used as a medium for the Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet technique.



These techniques are in the wrong order on the jutsu list. I will do them in the reverse order as above. I will explain both techniques at once but I want you to explain both techniques separately as you did all the techniques before. Earth Flow River is a basic technique. It uses one hand seal to turn the ground underneath the opponent into a river of mud. Similar to the last earth jutsu you learned that does no completely solidify the earth, this technique also keeps the earth as mud. As I mentioned before, this is done by keeping the user's earth chakra loose giving it a mud-like appearance. This technique is not offensive by itself but can be used to follow up with an offensive counter. This technique is mainly used to distract the opponent. It can be increased in power by using a fire technique to heat the mud. You can easily defend against it by solidify the mud with lightning and breaking out, or by using a technique that will enable you to block or avoid the river. This technique is prerequisite to the Earth Dragon Bullet which uses 4 hand seals to change the shape of the existing mud to that of a dragon's head. The dragon's head can release bullets of mud at the opponent which can then be combined with a fire technique. The user can block these bullets with another earth technique, or a wind or fire technique with physical force to push them away.

1.As Nikodo heard the explanation of the first jutsu, He made the tiger handseals and started focusing on the earth which was before him. Just similar to the previous jutsu he started affecting the earth with his chakra. He continued to affect it, but during that way Nikodo kept the chakra lose just like his Sensei told him to do. As he continued affecting the earth, it started breaking up and becoming a more fluid like verison of the earth, it was basivly turning into mud.

How I will use the technique offensively

---

Since this technique doesn't have any offensive properties, I might only use it as a medium for another specific jutsu. Some other ways to use it offensively is to trap the opponent in the mud and use another attack on him. And another offensive way is to use a strong fire attack to the mud in order to turn it in Lava.

How I can defend against the tech

---

In order to dodge this technique accordingly you are gonna need lightning training. By focusing your lightning chakra below you, you are able to solidify the earth, and then shatter it apart. Another possible way is to lift yourself up from the mud using earth pillars.

Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

---

This jutsu is pretty basic, but the way's it can be used, like sticking you opponent in it, rendering their movements useless, using the fire mud, or even the skill prior to the Earth Dragon Bullet makes the jutsu really interesting for me. Using different kinds of strategies, this jutsu can be really deadly.

2. For the second jutsu, Nikodo started to manipulate the mud he had created before. He started making the handseals Ram → Horse → Dragon, and after those seals were done, Nikodo started lifting the mud slowly, as it started taking the shape of a dragon head. The dragon then opened his mouth slowly and fire 3 mud shots to the dummy. Nikodo realized by the way the dummy moved, that this attack would break bones easily.

How I will use the technique offensively

---

I will use this technique only after I have used the flowing mud river, or if there is already existing mud in the battlefield. I will attack people in their most delicate areas in the torso or in the face, sometimes even to render them useless, the legs, since the attack might just be able to break the bone. Another way might even be to ignite them with fire and make a deadly "Lava kind off" attack.

How I can defend against the tech

To defend against this skill, I am gonna mostly need earth walls to tank all the mud shots easily. Another possible way of doing this might be Fire attack that will make the mud dry and rumble. Or even projectile lightning attacks, but you must have great accuracy with that.

Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

I have nothing much to say against this technique. It is a very interesting way of attacking you enemy after a previous jutsu you have used. And the mud shots are relatively ignitable, which can make the attacks even more deadly and unforgiving.

(Doton: Ganchūrō no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Rock Pillar Prison Technique

Description: After performing the required hand seals Rat → Horse → Dog → Snake and they then create a large amount of rock pillars from under ground. They can then be controlled to surround their opponent and create a bamboo-like thicket of rock.


These jutsu requires 4 hand seals. It works by the user sending their earth chakra into the ground below the opponent and merging their earth chakra with the existing earth itself. After the user's earth chakra merges with the earth, the user causes their chakra to rise up from the from different points from the ground. The result is that instead of the earth rising as one slab, many pillars of earth rise up and surround the opponent. The user can make it so the opponent is completely trapped in a pillar prison with each pillar having the thickness of bamboo. The key is that though each pillar is weak, the sheer number of pillars fortify the prison and give it strength. The technique has not true defense purposes other than defense by offense. The technique doesn't directly damage the opponent but can be used to rob the opponent of his senses and limit his range of motion. Of course, it can easily be broken down with a lightning jutsu or by blasting your way out with an appropriate energy jutsu.

Description: After striking the ground with their hands, the user creates a large wall of earth in front of him/her. The defence is not perfect though, since a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall. Also, since this technique only guards frontal attacks, the enemy can easily attack from the side or even from above.


All in all the typical earth wall jutsu. This jutsu doesn't require any hand seals but does require you take the time to slam your hands on the ground. If done carelessly your opponent can use that short gap to his advantage. The technique truly has no offensive capabilities (these two techs are kinda opposites). It is only short range so it basically just defends against techniques in front of you. It can be used to block water streams or bullets, or fire/wind bullets appropriately of the same rank. If your opponent uses it against you, most likely you won't have to guard against it as it'll cancel out with another one of your technique. But if you do have to guard against it, the a lightning blast or anything with cutting or blasting power stronger than the wall can handle will work.

1. As Nikodo heard the explanation of his Sensei. He started making the seals and at the same time molding the special earth chakra. So he began Rat → Horse → Dog → Snake, After making those seals, and charging the chakra in the meantime, Nikodo started transferring the chakra into the ground, merging it with the ground itself. He focused 5 m in the front of him. And started affecting the ground before him. Small pillars started coming up at quite a speed.

How I will use the technique offensively

This jutsu doesn't have a ton of offensive potential, since it could be mostly used to hinder the opponents movements on one specific side, or all the sides at once. Another way might be growing those thing pillars right at the opponents footing, which allows you to take away his attention and cancel out a jutsu maybe.

How I can defend against the tech

To defend against the jutsu, you need to most likely use attacks, which strong enough raw power to crack open those small pillars. So most effective would be lightning attacks, and very strong Taijutsu.


Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

This technique is very interesting judging on the possibilities you have. You can use these small pillars in thousands of ways. One would be forming them in the front of the enemy if he is attacking to give him some of the impact. You can do it on either side to render his movements useless. You can even do it as a cage and make an attack in the top. The sky is the limit.

2. As He became ready for the second jutsu, Nikodo started channeling the chakra in both of his hands. As soon as the amount was enough he slammed the ground, and started channeling the chakra into the ground. And half a meter before him. The wall grew at a high speed. The wall was at a height of 2 m. All before him.

How I will use the technique offensively

This technique doesn't have any offensive capabilities, it is only for defense, so I don't know what to add here.

How I can defend against the tech

I am gonna say how to break through this jutsu mostly. So, yo break throgh, most effective would be the lightning techniques. They can cut cleanly through them. Another way might be jutsu which have an incredible raw force. Like very strong taijutsu or even energy based jutsu. Useful would be even jutsu with cutting capabilities, so that they could cut the earth in half.

It is a pretty basic earth wall, I got no special thoughts for this jutsu. It is simply and earth wall made to tank attacks from enemies, so that's it mostly.

Description: This technique lets the user summon a river of mud infront of them. This technique can have water added to it to speed up the flow and increase its power.


This jutsu without the use of hand seals creates a river of mud. The mud is summoned in front of the user then travels toward the opponent all the way up to long range. If you want, you can combine with a water technique to increase the speed of the mud. This jutsu is very useful offensively when you are close to the opponent or perhaps mid range from the opponent. You can summon the river of mud without any hand seals to catch the opponent off guard. The river of mud will catch them off guard and sweep them away. Of course it is not meant to be a pure offensive technique, you must then use the opening the river creates when it pushes them away to follow up with another attack. The technique does not have defensive capabilities because it is not solid like regular earth and can't be exactly shaped to form defensive structure. It is easy to counter because the river mud is low to the ground. You can use raise the earth underneath you so that river of mud hits the side of the raised earth as you are earth unaffected at the top.


(Doton: Retsudo Tenshō) - Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm

Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar → Ox → placing hand on the ground, the user causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inwards on itself, burying them alive or crushing them. This technique is capable of causing quite a bit of damage to the area. This technique is much more damaging if used in rocky mountainous areas, or inside a cave.


This jutsu requires 2 hand seals and placing your hand on the ground. This jutsu is essentially a whirlpool of earth somewhat similar to a whirlpool of water. The user will send their earth chakra into the ground to cause the earth underneath the opponent to loosen and crumble. The user will then cause the earth to spin in a spiral with the direction of spin being focused toward the center. If the technique is done with the opponent at the center of the spiral, all the rocks around the user on the ground will converge toward him burying his body in rocks. The jutsu can be countered if you can initially sense the earth chakra in the ground then just channel lightning chakra to negate the earth before there are drastic changes. If the you cannot sense the earth chakra, then you once you see the changes in the earth, you can simply use a technique that allows you to so airborne to get out of the range of the spiral and onto solid ground.

1. As Nikodo heard the explanation of the jutsu he got his stance. And started manipulating the earth which was before him in a distance of 5 m. The earth started being affected by his chakra and slowly creaking up, changing the usual solid form of the earth itself. The earth started liquefying up to a certain level, till it became a mud like substance. Once that particular form took place the earth started traveling at high speed towards a certain direction.

How I will use the technique offensively

So, offensive variants are endless. One of them swapping away the enemy towards a cliff. Another way might be using a water skill to make the mud river faster, and yet another way might be super heating the mud and make it kind of a lava attack.

How I can defend against the tech

To defend against this tech, I would use a very strong katon chakra to overheat the mud and harden it making it not flow down on me anymore. Another way are lightning attack who solidify and break up the earth. And yet another way are Earth walls.


Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

This skill is pretty basic, and the only thing positive about it are the use with other elements. You can make the mud faster, super heated and boost the power of it itself. So except that I have no other feelings.


2. After finishing the first jutsu, the concentration went directly ahead to the second one. While keeping a calm ready stance, a breeze of wind flows by as Nikodo was making the seals. Boar → Ox the moment the completed the ox seal he knelled down and touched the ground flowing the chakra slowly inside of it. At a specific are the ground started breaking up and slowly weakening. As it was weakening, he slowly gave it a clockwise rotation creating a pulling motion where everything there would be pulled down and crushed.

How I will use the technique offensively

This technique has nothing but offensive use. I would simply create a hole under the enemy or multiple ones and suck them down the earth where they would simply get crushed by the many rock particles clashing together really hard.

How I can defend against the tech

To defend against this tech i would most likely only use a full body lightning armor or attack so I can break up the ground slowly and not be killed. Or I would flow at the same moment as the enemy raiton chakra on the ground stopping the jutsu before it happened.

Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

I have nothing special to say about this technique. It seems pretty basic and simple. And the gain you get is a lot bigger.

(Doton: Dochū Eigyo no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique

Description: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready to attack an opponent. By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him. This jutsu can also be used to avoid incoming jutsus.


The way this technique is used is as purely an escape measure. It is best used if the opponent does not have vision of you. There is only one real use for this technique so this explanation won't be that long. When you opponent is attack you from various sides and you feel that there is no way you can defend against all of them, use this defend to merge with the ground of move through it. The user does this by focusing earth chakra throughout his body and actually turning his body into earth. He merges his earth body with normal earth to seamlessly travel through it. It has no offensive uses and cannot be used to defend other than to escape. If the opponent is unaware that you went underground or doesn't have sensing abilities you can use this to your advantage move behind you opponent and give him a surprise. A simple way to counter this technique is that after deducing you opponent went underground (sensing or by seeing it) you can create a Swamp of the Underworld to stop him in his tracks or World Shaking to cause him to come out of the ground. This jutsu can be risky for an opponent who can use you being underground to his advantage.


(Doton: Doryūkatsu) - Earth Release: Earth Flow Divide

Description: The user will first perform the required hand seals Rabbit → Boar → Rat → Horse → Tiger → Snake and then by flowing concentrated chakra from one's palms into the Dragon Veins flowing underground, one can tear the earth apart, creating large chasms by firstly raising the earth in the desired location and then splitting that peice of earth through the center. The length, width, direction, and curve of the chasm are all up to the user. Manipulating the Dragon Veins requires fine chakra control, but if one has such skill, they can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team in two, destroy enemy camps or defences, and even to attack.
Note: This does not split the earth appart directly to cause opponents to fall in the fissure.


This jutsu requires quite a number of hand seals relative to other jutsu, six to be exact. The jutsu works by sending your earth chakra into the ground and focusing it on the Dragon Veins underground. You then cause your chakra to rise up then split the section of earth that is risen in half. You can manipulate the split in any manner that you desire. The technique can be used to drain certain water techniques or to cause your opponent to fall into the chasm. The technique is mostly used to affect the surrounding environment and doesn't really attack you or can it defend a blast like technique. If the opponent uses it, it is mostly to drain water. Simply use common sense to stop yourself from falling into the chasm in any manner that you feel is appropriate.

1. For the first jutsu, after the explanation was complete, Nikodo began focusing the chakra into his whole body. The special signature earth chakra started slowly taking effect from the feet to the head. As the chakra was working, it started changing the shape of of the body slowly and slowly and making it identical to the earth he was stepping one. As the the shape of the body was being transformed the chakra started forcing the body to sing slowly while progressing with the mudification of the rest of the body until he went fully underground and wasn't visible anymore.

How I will use the technique offensively

---

Offensive ways are only if the enemy isn't a sensory and didn't see you going underground. If that is done that you can simply emerge from the ground below right behind him and use an avalanche of killing moves, starting from a kunai, to a jutsu to whatever.

How I can defend against the tech

---

As you said, unless you see the enemy going underground or sense him where he is there is literally no way you can defend against an upcoming attack from the back. One way might be to stay alert all the time. But if you see him or sense him you do have other ways. One might be the earthquake technique, another one might be lightning currents traveling through the earth slowly breaking everything apart.

Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

I like the fact you can use this skill to dodge easily attacks all around you. And also the fact that if you become one if the earth you will create less vibration something which might be really useful in battle. Another thing I like is the potential you have for sneak attacks.

2. For the second technique, making the handseals was the first step, so slowly the handseals started being done. After the handseals were complete, Nikodo smashed his hands into the ground, and started circulating and transferring the chakra into the ground slowly focusing on the special "Dragon Veins". As he was focusing he began forcing the earth to be lifted up in one stop slowly as the earth was in a significant height, the Uzumaki created a crack in the middle which started getting larger slowly and slowly, the reason being that the 2 other parts are being pulled apart from one another.

How I will use the technique offensively

I can use this skill while the opponent is using a water based technique, and drain the place from the water, so that the enemy won't be able to use it anymore. Another offensive use is separating the enemies from one another or even making them fall in the cliff.

How I can defend against the tech

---

Ways how to defend are forcing lightning chakra inside the earth, canceling the jutsu. Another way might be to evade this skill and change your location with maybe a wind skill.

Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

I don't find any more usages then just separating enemies and draining water, so this skill is pretty basic. I have no other feelings for this skill.

(Doton: Tsuchi Douyou no Hira) – Earth Release: Earth Shaking Palm

Description: After performing snake hand seal the user slams their hand on the ground. The result is that the ground becomes heavily turned up with chunks of rubble popping out of the ground. This technique is used as a means to distract opponents to either create an escape or follow through with a surprise attack.


This technique is the same as (Doton: Retsudo Tenshō) - Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm. The only difference is that this technique requires one less hand seal and at the same time is much weaker. While the other technique can cause severe damage to the opponent if they get caught, this technique can only distract the opponent making them lose balance and such. This technique should mainly used to create an opening for another attack and not as a finishing attack by itself. The user will send their earth chakra into the ground to cause the earth underneath the opponent to loosen and crumble. Now you just move the crumbled rocks and flip them over or move them around or up to make the opponent react to the changes. This can be defend the same way as the other technique, just go air born or out of the range of the center of action.



(Doton: Kengan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Fist Rock Technique

Description: After performing the snake → Seal of Confrontation and then by encasing their arm in rock, the user can deal a powerful hardened punch against an opponent while being protected from direct contact with their target. If necessary, the weight of the rock can be increased to further increase the punch's destructive power through the Earth Release: Added Weight Technique or the Earth Release: Super Added Weight Technique.


What can I say... you do two hand seals and cover your arm in rock. This technique is pretty much just a powerful punch. You can use it to punch through certain earth techs or water techs. Anything you can't do with a punch you can't do with this technique. I'm not gonna tell you how to punch or how to block a punch, instead just tell me how you would punch or counter this strengthened punch.

1. As Nikodo heard the explanation of the technique itself, he made the snake handseals and start focusing on the pach of ground which was before him. Slowly with great concentration he was taking different parts entirely and started breaking it up in this way destroying the actual structure of the earth. The same was happening in the footing of the rock patch, it started getting gradually weaker so the untouched large parts of rock started falling in moving a lot which would have caused great distress for the enemy and might ruin his focus. This could have been a perfect chance to follow up with another attack.

How I will use the technique offensively

The offense usages of this skill aren't that great. It is mostly used to distract the enemy and then you can follow up with a a lethal attack someone which could simply kill the opponent easily. Another way you might use this offensively is if you break the ground near a cliff or close to a river with strong currents. You will send your enemy to a direct "accidental" death.

How I can defend against the tech

Well, ways how you can defend against this skill are quite frankly a lot. You simply can get away from the center of the earth which is vibrating. You can use a skill to catapult you in the air, you can gain stability even by using a lightning technique down in the earth to rival the enemies chakra.

Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

This skill is pretty basic. It doesn't give you any chance to customize or create good strategies with it. You can simply confuse him, then attack or run.

2. For the second jutsu, the Uzumaki extended his hand forward and started channeling earth chakra inside his body. Slowly he started transferring the chakra toward that arm. He clenched his fist and started leaking the chakra out through his pores. While leaking the chakra he started effecting it with the shape and nature manipulation turning it into solid earth skin with the same shape of the punch.

How I will use the technique offensively

Well it is a stronger punch. So you can do all the things you normally couldn't do. With this you can break up earth walls in the same rank while destroying the earth layer as well. You can hit someone and cause considerable amounts of damage like breaking bones destroying organs, cracking skulls ect...

How I can defend against the tech

---

To defend against this punch, you can sue the limitless info of the freestyle. You are basically protecting yourself, from a bigger and stronger punch. You can duck under it, hit the arm from sideways to redirect the punch somewhere else you can go close to walls and duck in the last second causing the earth layer to shatter. If you are enough adaptive with taijutsu you might even have the strength to break it. Or you might even try to catch the punch with lightning infused chakra and break the earth apart losing that strength.

Whether or not I find the technique useful or interesting

This is pretty basic, I have no other feelings. It is basicly a stronger punch, but it is harder to move around, larger and thereby will create resistance with the air, making the punch slower.

(Doton: Ton'neru chika no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Tunneling Technique

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram → Dog → Rat → Bird is able to create a wide tunnel in the ground, this cannot travel through rock though or anything with a high density. The large tunnel that is created allows the user to transport others without detection.
Note: The initial entry of the technique is short range.


I'm personally going to keep this short as this technique has absolutely no offensive or defensive capabilities. It does one thing and that is create a tunnel. The tunnel requires four hand seals and the user sends his chakra into the earth and moves the earth so that it creates a wide tunnel. The tunnel can only be created short range from you but it can extend all the way up to long range. It also does work on rocky areas. Basically you can create the tunnel to move underground to escape attacks but a skilled opponent can just use a technique to make the tunnel collapse on you. If your opponent is using a technique that causes force on the ground beneath him you can use this technique to make a tunnel underneath the ground to make him fall into it. But sadly the time it would take would allow him enough to counter. If your opponent uses, respond like I mentioned above. I wouldn't use this if I were you though.


(Doton: Dōka Iwa fubuki) - Earth Release: Assimilated Rock Blizzard

Description: After performing the Assimilate All Creation Technique to fuse with an object, the user controls the rocks that make up their "body" and shoot the rocks at the target.
Note: Must use Assimilate all creation technique beforehand.


The technique simply shoots rocks out of your body. It does requires Assimilate All Creation to be active before hand. If it is not active before hand I would not use this technique because it means you would have to use two moves just to shoot rocks out of your body. The user channels his chakra into his body to turn his chakra in to earth then fires the earth out in the form of rocks. Offensively it just throws rocks you can power the rocks by using a fire technique to heat them up but the base technique is just rocks and I personally wouldn't use a second jutsu just to power up a weaker first jutsu. To defend against this an explosive kunai itself should work. Anything that can stop rocks also works. I don't think you'll have a hard time coming up with a way to stop rocks.
