COD is definitly more popular... Halo started it all...... halo is more for fantisizers like me..... and cod is more for "lets get it done" attitude people... both are fantastic series though... but i will always lean towards halo..

Neither is better than the other. Its all about which one you prefer.
Just because one makes more sales than the other, doesn't make it a better game.
To answer ya question, I prefer Halo since I think its actually more fun/better story and COD is milked too much and has gotten too easy imo.
Yes I play both(Black ops....not anymore really)

id rather play cod on halo the controls are weird and just the feel of the game is to plus it gets boring after awhile especially halo 3....and for cod its fun you could play it like all day and the controls are easy to get use to but thats just my opinion

The Halo franchise all together is not better than cod.

In terms of gameplay.

No COD game comes close to Halo 2, MAYBE Cod 4. Every other game in these two franchises has been pretty bad aside from Cod 1/2, and Halo CE
