Hello, hello Bedlington. Im also waiting for Selendrile. Where is this guy? >.>*waits for Selendrile excitedly*
Thanks again sempai!
Using sources for help is completely fine with me, just use them in your own words like you did. ^_^Ok sempai, sorry I took so long but I wanted to make my answers as good as possible.
1. What is Wind Release in Narutoverse?
Wind release is an elemental nature transformation that is utilized by creating sharp and thin chakra. It usually consists of cutting and slashing damage from short to mid range. When channeled into weapons, the weapons destructive force increases and gains greater piercing abilities (however the piercing capability is not as great as that of weapons used with lightning affinity). Wind also makes up a part of the kekei genkei ice release and kekei tota dust release.
I apologize if I should not have done this but I got some background from narutopedia (I used it in my own words)
2. What is it strong to?
Wind is strong against Lightning release, Storm release, Boil release, Sound Release, and Konan's Paper ninjutsu. It is also effective at blowing away Rain jutsus and strong wind jutsu can blow away steam release.
3. What is it weak against?
Wind is weak to Fire release, Ice release, Dark release, Blast release, and Dust Release.
4. Name a few wind users.
Some wind release users are: Naruto Uzumaki, Asuma Sarutobi, Sora (if you count filler arcs), Temari, Gaara, and Haku.
A small rip appears on the leaf.Alright sempai.
*I take the leaf and I place it into the palm of my right hand. Then, I cover the leaf with the palm of my left hand and close my eyes. While molding chakra, I focus on images of microscopic but extremely sharp needles and try to envision my chakra in a similiar shape. While focusing on these images, I focus the chakra into my hands and channel it onto the leaf.*
The leaf is suddenly cut in half.Alright, I'll try harder this time!
*I begin molding chakra again, I focus on images of knives and concentrate on the sharpness of them. While doing this, I try to envision my chakra in a similar shape and I focus the chakra into my hands and channel it onto the leaf.*
Then we shall begin, to go towards the end. O.OOk sempai, ready when you are!
Increase your description length on the next otherwise I shall make you re-do it.*I begin molding my futon chakra and I channel it into my lungs, infusing it with the air in my body. Then I exhale, blowing the air towards the ground but aimed in your general direction.*
I don't think your counter is very effective because the goal of my jutsu is not to get debris and dust into your eyes, it's to effect the entire field and your counter does not do anything about this.
Thank you for being so understanding with my long response time.Increase your description length on the next otherwise I shall make you re-do it.Good reasoning, and the small sword wouldnt be too effective blocking the dirt from getting into your eyes in the first place. Much too small.
(Fūton: Sensougouheki) - Wind Release: Rumbling wind wall
Rank: D
Type: Attack/Defence
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.
Focus your wind chakra and then release it in front of yourself. Afterwords, shape it into a wall that would be large enough to protect your entire body.
You defend with the above technique, to me throwing two explosively tagged kunai at yourself.
My apologies, but yes, you did have it perfectly correct. ^_^Thank you for being so understanding with my long response time.
*I begin molding my futon chakra. Then I channel my futon chakra right in front of me. As I attempt to shape my futon chakra, I envision a wall of about 6.5 feet tall and 3 feet wide (I am about 6 feet tall and I want to try to be specific - if I was rping with one of my bios, the height of the wall would be based off of the bio's approximated height). Further developing this mental image into a wall made up of spinning microscopic needles, as sharp as knives, that cause the wind to spin in such a way that projectiles would be reflected back to there original location (like light being reflected from a mirror when it hits the mirror at a right angle), I attempt to shape my futon chakra into the likeness of this image.*
I hope this is a better description, if not please let me know how to improve on it for future jutsu.
Now I was a little confused here because originally you said "I will also post a counter to technique you are learning. You will tell me whether it is a bad or good counter, and the reasons why." In this case, it sounded like it was the other way around, I was using Rumbling wind wall to counter your kunai (I presume that the reason I was countering instead of you is that Rumbling wind wall jutsu is a defensive jutsu). Could you please clarify this?
Anyway, Rumbling wind wall is an awful counter to two explosively tagged kunai because the jutsu description specifically says: "if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element." This means that I was unable to deflect the attack. Although I may have prevented any damage from the kunai themselves, I will still be hurt by the explosions. I probably would be better off trying change my position or deflecting the kunai before they get near me.
In my opinion, it's the opposite. The sheer size of the lid would just simply be too large for you to escape from. The speed of moving with Wind Stream is fast, you just wouldn't have enough time to escape. That is Pain's three headed dog summon underneath the lid. Which we know to be quite large.*I begin to mold my futon chakra. Then I begin focusing all of my futon chakra into my lungs. Afterward I take a huge breath of air and hold it. While holding my breath I infuse the air in my lungs with the futon chakra that I had previously molded and focused into my lungs (These actions have probably taken about 20 seconds to complete). After deciding which direction (any variation of North/South, East/West, up/down - in this case I will say West) I want to move towards, I turn my head in the East direction and exhale, blowing wind out of my mouth. As a result, a force, equal in magnitude to that which I exerted on the air in the East direction, will hopefully applied on me by the air in the west direction. Since I wanted to move as fast as possible West to avoid anything you would throw at me (and don't really care how fast I hit the ground), I would have blown the wind parallel to the ground, maximizing my acceleration in the West direction.*
Your counter is pretty ineffective because as long as I move in a direction parallel with the ground, the lid and I will be falling at the same rate which will give me plenty of time to get out from underneath the lid.
Dont be sorry, as long as you're learning!Ah, ok - I didn't really think about that - srry
Yes, that's the main part of what I wanted you to understand. The fire stream would heat up the rocks, and carry them back towards your opponent.*I begin molding my futon chakra. While molding more of it, I take in a deep breath. Immediately afterwards I channel my chakra into my mouth. Then, I infuse my futon chakra with the air in my mouth, infusing the many microscopic needles as sharps as knives. Then I blow the air out aiming at the ground in your general direction hopefully picking picking up rocks and debris and carrying them towards you and hitting you.*
I think that your counter is pretty solid. Since my wind technique is a of much weaker strength than that of your fire release technique (plus in general fire release techniques are stronger than wind) it should easily over power my attack.
Out of curiosity, would your jutsu be able to melt the rocks being blown towards you?
