(Fūton: Senpūken) - Wind Style: Hurricane Fist
Advantage: This technique though simple, could be used for a variety of ways. If the opponent is too close for comfort or you just want to distract him while preparing another jutsu, using this technique would be great to push them back while causing damage. If the opponent performs a technique that travels across the ground, using this technique to push yourself in the air can be a great way of evasion. A technique that requires no hand seals that can prove to be helpful in many situations, this is definitely a jutsu to keep in mind for battle.
Disadvantage:
The whirlwind starts off moderate and continues to grow as it travels, leaving a window for the target to counter or quickly get out of range if at mid range. If at short range, the target may be able to pull off a quick fire jutsu before the user can **** their arm back and perform the technique, causing the jutsu to backfire.
Situation you would use it in:
If at mid-range, I would use this technique to distract my opponent. I would either first trap them with another technique that prevents them from moving, so evasion isn’t possible or set up a trap behind him while he push is being push back by the whirlwind. If the opponent is in short range and attempting to perform taijutsu, I could use this tech to push them back. If my opponent sends a technique that runs across the ground, using this technique will help me evade
Perform the jutsu:
SHadou begins to gather his chakra, allowing it to take on the properties of the nature of wind as he focuses the chakra within his right hand and part of his forearm. Balling his right hand into a fist, Shadou then bends and cocks his arm backward so that his right hand is aligned with his ear. He then suddenly thrust his right arm forward, releasing the gathered wind chakra, creating a whirldwind infront of him that begins to travel towards his opponent. As the whirlwind is on its path, it begins to increase in size on its way towards the target.
(Fūton: Jūha Reppū Shō) - Wind Style: Beast Tearing Gale Palm
Advantage:
This technique doesn’t requires hand seals and can be performed from short to mid range. It can be used to offensively strike the opponent or can be used in combination with other jutsus or taijutsu techniques. The technique can also be used to deflect and defend the user from incoming projectiles. If there are solid objects in the way of the user or opponent, this technique could push the objects out of the way. The technique description mentions that the claw can grab the opponent which would leave them vulnerable to other jutsus.
Disadvantage:
I believe the user has to keep his hand up and keep feeding the technique chakra as long as its active which is a disadvantage. Also since the technique is performed from a hand, the user will have blind spots open for a clone, ally, or summon that may be behind them. The technique only extends up to mid-range so a quick enough opponent may be able to use a jutsu to boost them out of range in time or send a wide scale fire tech at the claw.
Situation you would use it in:
I would use this technique in a few situations. If I could manage to blind my opponent beforehand, I could jump into the air and perform this technique to crush him against the ground to catch him off guard. I could perform a technique that forms above my opponent then use the claw to grab my opponent while the technique attacks him from above.
Perform the jutsu:
Focusing a decent amount of chakra in his dominant, right hand, Shadou begins to envision the nature of wind. With the wind chakra now focused in his right hand, Shadou raises his right arm and extends it forward; creating a massive claw of wind that extends from Shadou’s right hand. The claw aimed at the given target, strikes the opponent.
