1: I want to learn the art of wind because it seems the most powerful in both scenarios of offensive and defensive techniques, as well a powerful enough gust of wind can easily divert the attack of another jutsu style.

2: Wind's weakness is against the element of fire, this is because fire is enhanced by the element of wind, as fire needs oxygen to determine it's size and heat. So wind just basically fuels fire.

3: Wind is strong against lightning, this is because wind is a natural electrical insulator.

--I started by taking the leaf from Nafinity and closing my eyes to focus. I began by trying to gather and manipulate my chakra to the base of my hands, trying to maintain it's manipulate. I then open my eyes, focusing on the leaf as the chakra suddenly shoots forward in a small amount, cutting the leaf in half--

(Fūton: Fūsajin no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Dust Wind Technique

Description: The user creates a gust of wind that layers an area in loose sand and dust. Doing so also acts as a sandblaster on the surrounding area. This layer of sand that accumulates on the trees during this technique makes it difficult for others to get a good footing. The initial gust can also temporarily blind opponents by lodging sand in their eyes

Gather your futon chakra up, then release it around the loose sand/dust to create a small sandblaster.

• 1. It is a very effective jutsu for gaining a field advantage, as it can distort one of the most commonly used senses during combat, the sight by using sand and dirt that it picks up from the ground.
• 2. The layer of loose sand and dust that covers the area can make it a little easier for the user of the jutsu to get around more effectively with lower chances of being spotted by the enemy.
• 3. Quick and easy to use, also a weak jutsu so it doesn't take much to use.

One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

• 1. A weak jutsu, and other than possibly distorting their sight, there is no guarantee to it doing much of anything effective.
• 2. it only has a short range, so before you can even have hope of ruining the enemies sight you have to get close in the first place to use it.
• 3. It can't do any damage what so ever, so you must first figure out a plan to use another jutsu to deal the damage with this one at best confuses the enemy.

How you would use it in battle: Personally I'd use the abilities of gathering the sand and whatnot to my advantage by first swamping it all into one place and in one direction toward the enemy. Instead of spreading out about a short range, I'd make it all surround the enemy in like a small thin dome layer of dust and dirt to keep them confused and whatnot, and while they are unable to see with it on them I'd use another technique that does damage to hit them with as they won't be able to see it coming.
How you would counter it: Easy enough really, if you have another wind jutsu of your own that isn't this one you can just simply blow all the dust and dirt away with ease, or if you a Hyuga with the Byakugan, then the whole primary point of the jutsu becomes void as the byakugan can't be blinded.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): To use this jutsu, you start by gathering a small amount of wind chakra and then generate a gust of wind with the chakra that layers the surrounding area in a blast of sand and dirt. This layer of sand and dirt that accumulates on the nearby field makes it difficult for others to get a good footing. The initial gust can also temporarily blind opponents by lodging sand in their eyes.

• 1. The jutsu is pretty good for gaining an advantage because it gives you a boost of speed while also in midair so you can practically avoid a good chunk of projectile attacks be it weapons or jutsus with ease.
• 2. It gives you the capability to conceal your presence relatively effectively by blowing the wind at the ground and causing the dust cloud to be formed. Sure it'll suck moving through it for you as well, but it's effective. xD
• 3. Quick and ease jutsu to use, so you could use it multiple times to cause a larger cloud of dust.

One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

• 1. Weak and simple jutsu again, so its easy enough to counteract. Simply use a wind jutsu of your own to blow away the dust cloud, or if you are dealing with the enhanced speed, just use a fire jutsu toward them so the flames will be attracted to the stronger source of oxygen.
• 2. The jutsu deals no primary damage so you have to take the time and energy (chakra) to use another jutsu on the enemy in order to have the jutsu mean anything in the long run.
• 3. Meh.. x_x

How you would use it in battle: I'd use it multiple times around the field to generate one large dust cloud, I'd then use it once more to enhance my speed and glide through the large dusty storm with ease, my presence now concealed. I'd then use that to my advantage on top of the speed to come up on the enemy and strike them down as swiftly as I can.
How you would counter it: Simply use a wind jutsu of your own to blow away the dust cloud, or if you are dealing with the enhanced speed, just use a fire jutsu toward them so the flames will be attracted to the stronger source of oxygen.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): You start by gathering your wind chakra into your mouth, after gathering a small amount, then while you're in midair you are able to change direction by blowing the wind chakra out of your mouth.

• 1. It's an easy enough jutsu to use, in both sense of technicalities and it's rank. So it is a quick and easy jutsu to use, and it can be used in a variety of different ways.
• 2. The gust of wind used can pick up rocks and whatnot this is true, but a strong gust of wind like that can no doubt pick up other things as well. Be it wood or weapons or whatever else.
• 3. Using this jutsu is effective for throwing the enemies footing off, obviously as it says so. By doing so, you give yourself quite the advantage to take their thrown off state to make another attack.

One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

• 1. Weak jutsu and predictable in a variety of different ways, so it would be simple enough to counteract the attack with another jutsu.
• 2. Meh.
• 3. Meh. x_x

How you would use it in battle: I'd use the jutsu to primarily raise the enemy into the air. Whether or not the rocks hit him or her is not nearly as important to me as that would be, as while they are in midair and focusing on defending against the coming rocks, I could start using another jutsu against them, most likely another offensive projectile jutsu to launch against them while they are in midair and still focused on the rocks.
How you would counter it: Simple enough to counter, if you are able to see or feel the jutsu being used, then just make an effort to move from that specific spot that you are currently at, as the current of wind can't be manipulated after it's course has been set.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): The user gathers a fair amount of wind chaka in order for him or her to create a huge stream of wind that carries rocks that lifts the opponent into the air where the rocks hit them.

The jutsu is rather predictable in most of the possible combinations it can be used in, whether used solo or combined with a weapon, there are only so many things you can do with a jutsu such as this one so you are limited to the possibilities of using it, which also makes it easier for the enemy to counter.

How you would use it in battle: I'd first lung some shuriken or kunai forward at the enemy and mix it with this jutsu, after doing that I'd lung myself toward the enemy, focusing up another one and use it as a solo attack without shuriken and use it to knock the enemy backwards.
How you would counter it: I'd simply use a earth style jutsu to secure myself in a dome of rock and allow the shuriken and whatnot to go straight into the dome.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): In order to use this technique, the user must gather their wind chakra up in their hands, then clap their hands together after a good amount of wind chakra is focused. Wind is compressed into a powerful gale afterward.

• 1. Very effective for reverting weapons when they are thrown in an offcourse manner, so you can simply manipulate them through the wind chakra that you have infused with them to go back onto track and go after the desired target.

• 1. It requires bladed weapons in order to use, so if you have blunt weapons or anything other than bladed, it will not work. As well you have to have a weapon in the first place, if not, then the jutsu is void.

How you would use it in battle: I'd start by tossing a couple of shuriken and kunai alike at the enemy and have them all enfused with this jutsu. The only difference is on the Kunai there will be paper bombs tied to them ready to explode on impact.
How you would counter it: I'd simply use a more stronger wind jutsu to blow the attacks out of place, or simply use an earth jutsu to raise the ground around me into a dome state or even simply building a wall in front of me.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): In order to use this jutsu, the user must first grab out a shuriken from their ninja tools pouch, then gather their wind chakra, then release the chakra around the shuriken and throw the shuriken at the enemy. You are able to manipulate the tool of your choice in a spinning manner to attack the target.

If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.

• 1. It is an incredibly simple concept for such a incredibly powerful jutsu. It can be used to destroy terrain, and from the sounds of it, it can be quite effective against earth styled jutsus, simply because it's heavy destructive power can destroy obstacles made with earth style, and if not obstacles than it can knock the enemy out of place with ease.

One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

• 1. It requires a good amount of time to perform the required handseals as well the collecting of wind chakra in order to use the jutsu. If you are a stronger ninja and wish to use the potentially stronger form of this jutsu, it would no doubt require more chakra to gather and time to build up.

How you would use it in battle: I would use it to be rid of any pesky defenses the enemy may have. As the jutsu is powerful enough to tear a large tree over from the ground, it would no doubt easily knock a stone wall over, or anything else. I'd use it to get rid of a defense, and afterward I would see to using another dose of it to potentially knock the enemy across the field, and ensure he is finished by using another attack projectile jutsu or weapon.
How you would counter it: Launch a projectile fire jutsu directly at the large gust of wind and allow the flames to consume and enhance on top of the gust of large gust of wind.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): In order to use this jutsu, the user must first perform the hand seals; Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake. The user can then create a sudden gust of wind after gathering enough wind chakra, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user.

The wind created is strong enough to push the opponent back or create 2 inch deep slashes to his body, however the user cannot direct slashes.

Okay so this move is originally used by Temari with her fan, but you can create it.
First gather up your futon chakra up in your lungs while also performing a few hand seals, then blow out a sharp gust of wind, the gust is strong enough to push your target back and/or create 2 inch deep slashes.

• 1. This jutsu allows you to use it both with weapons and without. So you can enhance the overall capabilities of a weapons effectiveness. A whirlwind of slicing speeds makes it super effective against solid obstacles.

• 1. I can only think of the obvious and stated one, that the attack cannot be direct to the enemy. Meaning you have to have good aim and make sure the enemy doesn't just jump out of the way of the attack, which is easy enough to do.

How you would use it in battle: I'd direct this jutsu to the ground slightly to the side of the enemy so that way it cuts into the ground, and most likely causing dirt and dust to gather into the close area of the enemy. I'd use the shrouding of the dust from impact to leap into the enemy and get a 'sneak attack' off on him, possibly.
How you would counter it: Direct a fire style jutsu at the gust of wind, or in front of it or you, so the flames will simply be consumed by the gust of wind and just enhance the flame's capabilities as well countering the wind.
