Additionally, by watching others, I've developed a few possible custom ideas. Wind jutsu will fall into two categories, and in some cases will involve manipulation in both manners to complete the jutsu; Cutting Wind and Blunt force wind. They can be performed by either manipulating existing wind/air around you or by creating wind by exhaling it.
Cutting wind, pretty obvious as the name states... cuts things.
Blunt wind, more like the wind you'll come across in RL. It's power lies in it's ability to push things in the manner you want them pushed.
Explain to me (if you know) how to achieve these two forms of wind jutsu using your chakra.
Spot on. For blunt force, instead of making the air current thin and compressed, you make them wide and spin faster with your chakra. You can also compress these large air currents to give the a more devastating impact.
So, for the first of many jutsu. I want you to release your wind chakra into the air around you, using it to make the wind spin around gently to lift off fine particles of sand/dirt/dust thus creating a dust cloud.
How could you use this in battle?
Like human echolocation or acoustic way-finding?O__O Very good xD
For normal people, without a sensing technique or the appropriate doujutsu, you'd just have to remember where you target was or use the sound of their movements to locate them.

Now hold your hands out in front of you and charge them with your wind chakra. When you are ready I want you to release your chakra and start manipulating it to cause the wind to form a dense wall that should deflect my shuriken that I will throw at you.

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.
Inhale a deep breath of air and then release it from your mouth in a compressed form is such a way, that you will be blown backwards.
*As I did previously, I engage in a light meditation where I focus on controlling my breathing, periodically increasing the amount of air I take in while also increasing the rate at which I draw breath. Once I've got a leveled head, I take in a final breath of air and imbue it with my chakra, just as I did previously. I focus mainly on compressing the air and increasing the pressure in my lungs, increasing the concussive impact the wind will possess as opposed to focusing on making the wind razor sharp. Once I feel I've done a sufficient job, I exhale the wind, just as I did before, only on a different angle. I release the gust in such a way that it covers the entire area in front of me while brushing against the ground. The wind possesses enough strength to toss around a person, made evident by the countless loose rocks and earthy minerals pelting flying through the air pelting your clone while he too gets swept o ff his feet.*Excellent!

Description: This technique allows the user to change direction in mid-air at high speeds by simply blowing wind out their mouth. The user can also use this technique by blowing it at the ground and causing a dust cloud to rise, concealing the users location and movement.
Create a stream of wind across the ground that picks up small stones as it head towards my clone, were upon reaching him, will lift him up into the air. Whilst in the air, the stones the wind picked up will smash into him, dealing many small but painful injuries.
*As instructed, I begin by kneading chakra internally and channeling it to both of my hands. While diverting the flow of chakra to each of my hands and using it to coat them like gloves, I imagine my chakra as if it were being ground into fine razor blades; While I do sharpen the wind, it's done in such a way that does not bring harm to myself.When I feel like I've molded enough chakra, I envision my proper performance of the technique, before forcefully clapping my hands together. When I clap my hands, the resistance between them causes the wind to be forcefully diverted forward and outward in the form of a highly aggressive wave of air. When your clone runs towards me, he'd be swept off his feet by the surprisingly powerful gale force wind.*Excellent!

Charge your wind chakra into the palms of both your hands as you clap them together in front of you. As you clap your hands, quite forcefully I should add, I want you to compress the wind in your hands so as to release a powerful gale aimed at my clone to knock him back as he runs at you.

Description: A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.
Take out a kunai and then channel you wind chakra into it, adding an aura of wind to it. Manipulate the wind to give the weapon a very sharp edge and then use it to slash at that tree, cutting clean through it.
