Will gon ever become relevant again ?

Just like the title says, will gon ever be relevant in hunter hunter part two? If the author stays healthy and finishes up this series do you think gon will find a way to get his power back and ever make it to the new world that's been opened up? To me that's one of the biggest let downs is that the main character lost his power and is now irrelevant. I'm a weekend warrior when it comes to anime and manga so enlighten me if I've missed something. Thanks guys "live long and prosper my friends"

You missed the part when they learned Nen with Wing I'm guessing. When Gon asked if Nen could be changed to a different type he said in rare occasions a person can change their nen type. This is that moment, Gon asked about it now he's lost his nen, he'll reacquire Nen but he will be a new type.

Maybe? lol. It'll probably be finished but I can't begin to guess the time frame it'll be completed in. The rate it's went it may go another 10-12 years lol. I hope so though this manga has great characters, awesome powers, good art(from time to time) and character designs, good depth and mystery. I'd like to see Gon and Killua go back to Heavens Arena and partake in the Battle Olympia. I can't wait to see the new world. I want to see Leorio more. Hopefully no more Dragon Quest games get made.

Chrollo had a curse put on him that he couldn't use Nen, that's not the same as Gon. But I agree with you on the point Gon will get his back.

I actually think this is a good opportunity to give Gon some new abilities. Considering we've already had a glimpse of "prime Gon" in the Chimera Ant Arc, something obviously needs to change in order to keep things interesting.

I agree I think it'll get boring without gon, I think it'll be cool if there's a father son combo in the new world but who knows where the story will end up. Most likely within a month h there will be another two year hiatus. Knock on wood but the author is old as shit and will probably die soon. Knock on wood again lol
