They were not joking, that is your own headcanon. Both Sasuke and Sakura's VA were so high on SS ending together and kept expressing their joy and how it was always meant to be since Kishi told them from the beginning.

Though when they asked about the movie, the interactions between Boruto/Sasuke were mentioned by him first ... So I can only assume he truly enjoyed it as a Sasuke fan?

Yup, he spoke his mind on the movie just like he did on the ending, I believe he did enjoy it which makes me look forward to their interaction.

Yeah no offense to Naruto/Boruto and Sasuke/Sarada, just too bland. I see Sarada becoming the first Uchiha Hokage, and I see Boruto taking Sasuke's shoes.

I even had this headcanon that Sasuke distances himself from his daughter because he does not want her to live, and repeat the same mistakes he did as an Uchiha. Basically he does not want her to live his life. So he found someone like himself, who was not blood related.

We already see a parallel between Boruto and Sasuke, with Boruto supposedly being a prodigy, and seeking his father's attention.

Sarada and Naruto are also paralleled, with Sarada not seeing her father since she was a baby, and her being the main character of the manga with the first chapter named after her.

Also I'm pretty sure Bolt will awaken advanced dojutsu (Not Byakugan for sure) as he had both Hagaromo and Hamura reincarnated, maybe similar to teinsagan. I believe that will be the case because Kishi doesn't only draw cool Eyes Design that are only doujutsu from Hyuga or Uchiha, but also did to Naruto and other characters that are mostly awakening form.

Exactly. I'm hoping things become more clear towards the end of Gaiden. How Boruto/Sasuke and Naruto/Sarada start their teams. Not in the literal sense of becoming Jonin teachers, but just teachers.

If a KG can be transfered merely through chakra there there is no way it's impossible for someone to awaken a dojutsu that's in their genes. Kaguya natural eyes is baykugan and she had passed down her power onto both of her childeren. Hamura has recessive genes of Kaguya and yet Hagoromo has other attribute of the DNA which are clearly different from his brother or his mother.

Hagoromo's Rennigan is a mutation of Byakugan/Rennisharingan. It's not impossible for Bolt to have a blue eye with the powers of Byakugan a mix between Hyuga and Uzumaki.
