So you know how when an anime ends you get that depressed feeling like you said goodbye to those characters you "connected" to over the time (or maybe its just me :shy: )

Like for me the recent ones I watched again are Shaman King and DB and DBZ and it always happens
You just want the show to go on !_!

Naruto ended for me with the end of what we now call ''part I''. I just pretend shippuuden is a very long filler OVA

A sad paradox of enjoying manga or anime: you can't wait to find out what happens in the end, but don't want new material to stop coming. I have had feelings of anticipation/dread ever since Sasuke started appearing in the manga again.
I'm hoping Kishi's next manga is even better.

me ..... NO, but think of it this way, if a show kept going on forever, would you still be interested in it ?? lol the best stories are the ones' with a beginning and a great ending without stretching them meaninglessly. nothing is more satisfying than a series having it's fitting awesome ending .....

I will in a way.. because it's another 'time' of your life which is over.. (know what I mean..) Back in the days it was pokemon and DBZ.. at a certain age, that time is over, then I watched GW for a certain time, Now it's Naruto.. it's fun to look back at it ^^

Well there are Naruto forums, facebook pages etc. As there are many episodes to come and some manga chapters to come, people talk a lot about it (the fans), make predictions, discuss new episodes, etc...

When it ends, I think most of the fans won't be talking much about it, will be watching other animes, and some that are proper naruto fans will be sad as something from their "lives" will end, but still can rewatch it but it won't be the same.... Like Dragon Ball, there are many fans, but there isn't many discussions as there is for Naruto, there isn't predictions, anxiety of the next episode coming next, etc...
I don't reckon I'll be sad but I may miss new episodes coming out, predictions, the thriller, etc....

Meh. Something else will come around eventually. I never thought I would find something I enjoy as much as I did DBZ but then Naruto emerged.

well everything good must come to an end, so ill be a bit disappointed but no, not sad. What i do hope for however is that kishi milks the franchise and reenacts past battles and confrontations all the way from the beginning (the sage and his sons---->Naruto's birth)

I will be very sad. It was the longest story I've ever read. It kept our attention for years and years and I think it will be cool to reread it and wait it out till all goes anime. Then watch it again. You'll understand it better, see new aspects and connections and will acknowledge the value of this piece of art even more. When the ending is as good as the story, I will forever hold it dear to me and will read it again couple times. Like wine it will get better when it ages.
